CASE STUDY ANALYSIS

INTRODUCTION:-
The given case study deals with the self confidence within people that led them to thrive
success and become superstars.
TITLE:-
SELF CONFIDENCE TO ACHEVE SUCCESS
BREIF SUMMARY OF THE CASE :-
The case study displays various stories of well known people who had self confidence in
themselves which contributed to their thriving success. Sam Walton describes himself as a
weak football player in his school days, he displays how he couldn’t even throw a ball
properly, But due to his self confidence in himself they won matches and even won state
level championship. In a similar case of Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard they expected to win
and did not succumb to the setbacks they experienced. Some people like Susan Butcher had
to build her self confidence to win, She was placed 2nd a numerous times but as soon as she
built her confidence she won and kept winning. In the Jeff Bezos, He had confidence in
himself but was also known to the risk of fall if his plan did not work out, Yet his parents
believed in him and invested their life saving which led Jeff Bezos’s success.

 Susan Butcher lacked self confidence and had negative thinking towards her losses.
These thoughts led to her ultimate loss even after possessing a good team of dogs in
her game.

ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION :-

 Susan Butcher faced her loss only due to her lack of self confidence and the root
cause of her failure was negative thinking
 She had a thought that some day she would win and she did not think that she could
win today

RECOMMENDATION AND SUGGESTION :-

She should believe in herself that she could win. Elimination of her negative thoughts will
eventually lead her to gain more confidence in herself and lead her to achieve success.
In case of jeff Bezos he converted his risk into strength and had total confidence that his plan
would work out which led to his success in the end
CONCLUSION :-
In conclusion every one in the end of the day had self confidence in themselves which was
the biggest reason of their success. We can take a moral that Self confidence in ourselves will
eventually guide us to the path of success.

(i) Yes I agree with the statement. The whole case study shows how self confidence
played a major role and how self confidence tackled their problems and drawback
leading them eventually to eternal success.

(ii) In a football tournament match back in 2013, In finals we were put against the
seniors who won every league in the previous tournament. All of us lost
confidence and was sure certain that we would lose to them, Our coach came to us
and gave us a speech on how a single soldier in an army destroyed the enemy tank
and related our situation to them, We believed and scored 3 goals which made us
victorious.
