His mentor, Lillian Oppenheimer (1898-1992), provided the springboard for this effort, as many of the models were drown from her collection and connections she cubivated. Alice Groy (1914-1994) also provided inspiration by streamlining the communication of erigam ideas. All of the rovice-level works in this collection are dedicated to Alice cand her love of simple, elegant pieces. Throughout the years as our presentation has grown more polished, the goal of showcasing great origami has not diminished. The editors of the Origami Collection spend many hours cureting, testing and editing origami designs 40 produce a book that will appeal to origami aficionados of all levels and interests. Variey is @ key criterion; you will find works here by estoblished origami artists as well as many hidden gems from up-and-coming stars. Most of ‘the pieces are making their debut in these pages.
