Episode 1: Infected

        Clide Charles, an Egyptology specialist working at the Golden Gate Grand Museum, prepares for
an important new exhibit.  In spite of his assistant Millard’s incompetence, things seem to be
going well.

        Clide finds a mysterious tablet mixed in with the new collection that does not belong.  When he
translates it, the tablet appears to be a warning addressed to a “noble scholar,” who he naturally
assumes is him, and written hundreds of years before his birth.  It warns him not to be in the place
where he studies in two nights, on fear of death, and is signed with an hourglass.

        Crazy Charlie, a somewhat insane homeless man, suddenly begins vomiting beams of ice onto
people, freezing and killing at least one person.  Not surprisingly, the nice people from the MEA
(Meta-human Enforcement Agency) come and take him to Stronghold.

        The mood at Camp Snoopy, a homeless camp in Golden Gate Park, is grim, as everyone
wonders who will be next, while the MRO (Meta-human Rights Organization) starts asking
questions about Crazy Charlie.

        Dana Miller, an actress with a very small, but very devoted, fan base, is making plans to go to
the opening of her latest movie, Sorority 2, along with her friend and fellow actor, Brice Steel.
Her only worry is a member of the paparazzi named Crazy Charlie that seems to have it in for her.

        Randy Biggs, a criminal working for a man named Sammy Shark, who works for a man known
only as Mr. Boss, is told to rob the Golden Gate Grand Museum in two nights.  They have an
inside man, and his crew will consist of him, Johnny Skids, and Crazy Charlie.

        Alice Wright, a volunteer that helps the homeless in Golden Gate City, is at Camp Snoopy when
she sees a teenager that bears a striking resemblance to her, except for the bright pink hair.  Before
she can approach the girl, a homeless man named Big Ed starts a fight, and a riot breaks out.

        Clide does some research online, looking for more information about the strange tablet, and finds
a Dr. Ellen Brandon in New York who has found another one with that same hourglass signature.
The next morning, she sends him a picture of the tablet, along with her translation.

        The new tablet is also addressed to the Noble Scholar, and he soon realizes that it is referring to
binary.  He sees a sequence of lines and dots on the bottom of both tablets, and with the help of an
amused math professor named Professor Frank, he translates the message.  It is just as odd as the
others, warning him that he will see a woman that night, and if he doesn’t help her, it will be
worse in the future.

        Across town, Alice hears a voice she recognizes as the woman that lives upstairs.  She seems to
be talking about swallowing a bottle of pills, and though Alice doesn’t know how she could hear
her, she rushes upstairs to talk to the woman, Matthilda Meyers.  Alice realizes that the old woman
is lonely, and visits with her for a while, making sure to leave her phone number before she leaves.

        Alice’s friend, Bucky, insists that she go with him to the premier of Sorority 2 so he can get
Dana Miller’s autograph, so she arranges to meet him there.
        Clide sows decent among the ranks at the museum, asking another assistant named Nora to keep
an eye on Millard and making promises about her future that he has no way to keep.

        Sammy Sharks offers Randy a special job.  He needs a lunchbox containing a severed human
hand delivered to his inside man at the Golden Gate Grand, Millard Mills.

        While delivering the hand to Millard, Randy sees an agent of Sammy’s rivals, the Chen family.
Before he can decide what to do about the agent, who is trying to poison the guards by putting
something in their drinks, Randy sees a woman kill the agent.

        Clide also witnesses the strange incident, and later that evening he sees the red headed woman in
the employee lounge.  Remembering the warning he received, he helps her escape the premises.

        Alice hears a man talking about a girl, saying that she wouldn’t keep coming back to him if she
didn’t want it.  She confronts him, and he denies saying anything, realizes he was thinking about
the girl, and runs away.

        At the premier, Dana signs Bucky’s autograph, and then has an unfortunate wardrobe
malfunction, which of course Crazy Charlie is on hand to photograph.  Bucky jumps in the way to
stop any others from getting pictures, while Brice and Dana hop in Brice’s Porsche and chase
Charlie in his lime green Ford Escort.

        As Clide and the woman, named Scarlet, exit the back of the museum, they are just in time to see
a silver Porsche chasing a lime green Ford Escort, and to witness the Porsche’ spectacular crash.

        Brice is killed instantly in the crash, but Dana somehow manages to get out ok, though her
clothes are on fire.

        Clide rushes to Dana to try to help her, and his hands start glowing.  He heals her, though she
seems remarkably unharmed under the circumstances.

        Shortly after the crash, the authorities show up, including Agent Johnson, who figures out that
both Clide and Dana are Meta-humans, and instructs them to go to the MIA (Meta-human
Investigation Agency) office at 66 Freedom Avenue at their earliest convenience.

        Dana’s agent, Murray, tells her that news of the crash is all over the internet, but the pictures
aren’t.  A crazed fan beat up Crazy Charlie and broke his camera, so her reputation is safe… for
now.  She reveals that an Other helped her after the crash, but does not let him know that she is
one.

        Bucky decides to hold a party in Dana’s honor at the park across from the Golden Gate Grand
Museum at midnight, while Clide finds out that an error in cataloguing will require him to pull an
all-nighter that night, and Randy learns that the time-table has been changed on the museum job,
and it will be happening at midnight.

        Alice sees the strange teenager again, and talks to her.  The girl is mysterious, saying that Alice
sent her, even though Alice does not know who she is or remember sending her.  She also says
that a lot of people are going to get shot that aren’t supposed to get shot, and she has to fix things.

        The girl, named Minute, tries to send Alice away, but Alice insists on helping, so she tells her to
get tested and then meet her at Starbucks.  Reluctantly, Alice does so, and finds out that she is a
Meta-human too.  She registers, and is given a copy of the Meta-human Compliance Agreement,
which states that she must report any new abilities she develops, must register in her new town if
she moves, and will be executed if she kills with her powers.

        When Alice meets Minute at Starbucks, the girl reveals that her real name is Megan, and she is
Alice’ daughter, back from the future.  She says that she has to stop the killing, which would not
be necessary if idiot boy had heeded her warning.

        Clide, remembering the warning he received, and realize it is two nights after getting the
warning, gets his other assistant, Nora, to cover for him, but is roped into one last errand before he
leaves for the night.  He has to go upstairs to get some crates from a locked room.

        While upstairs, he is confronted by Millard, who pulls a gun on him, and demands that Clide
jump out the window.  Reluctant at first, Clide is convinced when Millard shoots him in the leg.
Also, a talking cat that only he can see tells him he will not be hurt by the fall.  Surprisingly, he is
not hurt by the several story drop.  He calls the police, and then runs away.

        Minute intercepts Clide’s 911 call, stopping the actual police from getting involved and
complicating things.  Then, she takes Alice to a strip club called Nudie Others, where she hopes to
find “Uncle Randy” and convince him not to participate in the robbery.

        With some difficulty, Minute eventually convinces Randy not to go to the museum, and gets him
to accompany her and Alice to Clide’s apartment.  There, she puts out a can of tuna for the cat that
nobody but Clide can see.  She can’t see it either, but knows it is there.

        Scarlet shows up in Dana’s hospital room, gives her Crazy Charlie’s broken camera, and says
they have to leave.  Dana accompanies Scarlet, and then also end up at Clide’s apartment.

        Minute fills everyone in, and explains that there is an artifact in the museum known as the Heart
of Mithraism.  People are trying to steal the artifact, but Minute needs it in order to save all their
lives.

        Minute says this would be easier with Crazy Bob, but he hasn’t changed yet.  Randy denies
being a Meta-human, and Minute shoots him.  Before the bullet can hit him, he disappears,
appearing in his old bedroom from childhood.  It belongs to another child now, but is still
recognizable.  He leaves the house, and is chased by the owner’s dogs, and soon teleports back to
Clide’s apartment, no longer denying what he is.

        The group goes to the Dana Miller party across from the museum, and waits, because Minute
knows that someone will be leaving the museum at midnight with the artifact.  Right on time,
Millard walks out holding it, and Clide shoots him.  Millard growls, turns orange, and gets bigger.
The group fights Millard, and he eventually tosses the artifact into oncoming traffic and runs
away.  First, however, he uses the artifact on Dana, aging her 1000 years instantly.  6 minutes
later, she comes back to life, none the worse for the wear.

        Minute uses the artifact to send the group 6 months and a day into the future, because otherwise
they will die in exactly 6 months.

Episode 2: Flash Foward

 Randy and Dana wake up in a room.  There is a strange bed, made of hay, and they are wearing
strange clothing.  There is a stranger in the room, and he does not seem to know who he is.
 Randy tests the door to the room, finding it locked, and then looks through the keyhole.  He sees
an eye looking back at him, and jumps back from the door.
 A woman named Facet walks through the wall and introduces herself to the group.
 She explains that they are in another world, called the Realm, and that they have temporal amnesia
as a result of being exposed to a fragment of a powerful artifact.  Their previous exposure to the
artifact Minute used to send them forward in time combined with the new exposure, has made
them forget everything that happened between the two times.
 Facet explains that the group was recruited by an organization known as the Omega Foundation 4
months earlier.  The Omega Foundation has four teams of Meta-humans working for them – Strike
Forces Alpha, Delta, Gamma and Omega.  Facet, along with the others gathered in the room and
two more, are members of Strike Force Omega.
 Facet also reveals that each member of the team has chosen a superhero name to go by.  Dana
Miller goes by the name Ankh, Randy goes by Stryker, the stranger with amnesia goes by the
name of Enigma, and the missing team members are Ra and Random.
 Facet explains that Random received a vision, and acting on that vision the group sought out Jill,
the first known Meta-human.  Jill exists in any and all points in time simultaneously.  Jill was able
to confirm for the group that the world is going to end in 5 years if something is not done to stop
it.  The Realm will bleed into Earth, and Earth will be destroyed.
 The group determined that there is another artifact, more powerful than the one Minute used, that
can be used to stop the world from ending.  It has been separated into pieces, and one of those
pieces is in the town the group has woken up in.  Facet explains that they are working with another
person, named Mindbender, temporarily.  He is a villain, but he doesn’t want the world destroyed
any more than they do.
 Mindbender, who had been captured by the soldiers of Baron Wrath, escapes from prison through
the sewers and makes his way back to the inn.  Baron Wrath is the local lord, and the group
believes the artifact is in his possession, though he probably does not know what he has.
 The group goes downstairs, where they are ambushed by 4 assassins, presumably in the pay of
Baron Wrath, and the High Priest of the Church of Hate, though they do not know his identity at
the time.
 In the fight, several of them are hurt, and the High Priest kills Ankh with a spell, though she
eventually wakes up after the fight is over.  She is still hurt when she wakes, however, and the
group decides they need help and magical healing.
 After asking around, the group finds out that there is a temple to Hope on the top of a nearby
mountain, and they try to go there.  Unfortunately, they are stopped on the road by the Baron’s
men and have to retreat back into town.
 Back at the inn, the group splits up.  Mindbender goes to the temple of Hate, where he has a lovely
conversation with the Avatar of hate, who offers to help the group if Enigma will agree to do her a
favor.  Meanwhile, Stryker decides to teleport to the temple of Hope on the mountain and get help
for the group.  He has Enigma accompany him, and watch his attempt.
 For some unaccountable reason, Stryker forgets to activate his super sight to get a good view of
the mountaintop, so he is forced to attempt the teleport in two stages.  The first stage involves
teleporting into the sky well above the mountaintop, since he can see it clearly, and the second
stage is to involve teleporting mid fall, once he can see the ground.
 The first jump succeeds, but he ends up much higher than intended, causing his second teleport to
be very difficult.  He only makes it halfway down, and falls to his death on the mountaintop.
 Enigma, seeing a tiny speck appear in the sky, then appear a little bit lower, and then fall, realizes
what has happened, and returns to tell the others.
 Not seeing many other options, Enigma goes to the church of Hate and agrees to the bargain, with
a couple of stipulations.  He will not kill someone directly, and he will not betray the group.  She
agrees to his terms, but warns him that if the group becomes involved with a rival avatar, her favor
could be considered a betrayal of them.
 Hate provides the group with healing, and after Mindbender recovers Stryker’s body by flying past
the guards, she resurrects him.  At this point, one wonders why Mindbender did not simply fly the
others past the guards to reach the temple of Hope to begin with, but by this time, it is too late for
that.
 While Stryker is dead, he finds himself sitting at a bar, with a skeleton bartender, watching the
current events on a big screen television.  A man that introduces himself as Shadow, God of
Opportunity, approaches Stryker, and gives him a message for Ankh.
 When the group is back together again, resurrected, and fully healed, they debate endlessly over
how to get the artifact from Baron Wrath.  Enigma expects reasonableness from a brutal paranoid
dictator, while Ankh is sure that Baron Wrath will not respond well to simple negotiations.
 An envoy from Hate approaches the group, and tells them that the way to make a deal with the
Baron is to offer him something he wants.  Hate happens to know that he is always looking for
new torture techniques, and she happens to know one he is not familiar with.
 The group, with the sole exception of Mindbender, is not comfortable with the idea of giving
Wrath another way to torture his innocent subjects, nor are they willing to make him a promise
they are not willing to keep.  Mindbender tries to convince them that it is worth it for the greater
good, and they point out that the only greater good he cares about is that a world still exists for
him to conquer.
 After a painfully long debate, the group decides to approach the Baron, and find out what he wants
in exchange for the artifact.  This turns out to be a very good idea, and they realize that the only
thing that would have worked would have been following Hate’s suggestion.  They all get thrown
in jail, and sentenced to death, and Facet has to use her powers to go back in time for a moment to
warn them.
 After receiving Facet’s strange warning, the group decides that they are still not willing to offer
Wrath the torture method, though some of them come close to justifying it.  They decide instead to
try again to reach Hope’s temple, and this time they succeed.
 At the Temple of Hope, they find that the only way the priests will help them is if they turn
Mindbender over to them.  He is evil, and they are not in the habit of helping evil people.  Enigma
and Stryker have no problem with that arrangement, and though Ankh is reluctant to betray him,
the group decides to accept the terms.
 Mindbender is put in stasis indefinitely, and the priest of Hope uses a miracle spell to recover the
artifact.

Episode 3: Omega

 6 months ago, John Doe was found naked in the water at the Washington Monument with no
personal memories at all.  He did, however, remember his abilities, including his mutations.
 The government took John and tried to figure out what was wrong with him, but all they were able
to determine is that he literally has no memories.  It is not that he has forgotten them, or is being
blocked from recalling them – they simply do not exist.  He does, however, somehow remember
that he owes someone named Hate a favor, though he does not know who that is.
 3 weeks ago, John was approached by Lincoln Cross of the Omega Foundation, an organization
which has been buying up contracts for Meta-humans from the government.  John is given the
choice to be a slave to the government, or to work for the Omega Foundation and make six figures
a year.
 Not surprisingly, John accepts Cross’ offer, and flies to California to form a team of Meta-humans
to work out of the Omega Foundation’s Golden Gate City office.  The job comes with a suite of
apartments consisting of an entire floor of a 40 story building next to the Transamerica Building.
 John, who chooses to go by the name Enigma, interviews about 30 Meta-humans, only 2 of which
seem to be worthwhile prospects.  One is a girl named Facet who refuses to divulge any personal
information, and the other is a woman named Siren who turns down his offer.
 Shortly before the Meta-human Protection Act becomes law, a Meta-human known as Ultralord
captures a small island within the Pacific.  Within 24 hours, it is fully operational, fortified, and
defended.  He declares it a safe haven for Meta-humans who wish to escape the governments
persecution.
 The government, panicked at the idea of Ultralord’s island, assaults it, but each attempt is
quashed.  Ships are shot out of the air with Surface to Air missiles, and battleships are torpedoed
before they can get close.
 Seriously worried, the government decides to fall back on the idea “when in doubt, nuke it.”
There is just one problem – several nearby islands are inhabited.
 When the government evacuates the islands, there is a problem almost immediately.  Within 6
hours, the evacuees begin to get sick.  Within 2 hours of that, the first begin to die.  Unable to stop
the sickening and death of the evacuees, the government returns them to their respective islands,
which miraculously cures them.
 The government would be willing to nuke the island anyway, considering Ultralord a terrorist, but
the United Nations will not allow it due to the small matter of thousands of innocent bystanders.
 Dana, Randy, and Clide come to their senses standing outside the Golden Gate Grand Museum,
theoretically 6 months and a day after Minute used the artifact.  It is 1 in the morning.
 The group checks a nearby newsstand to confirm the date, and finds that things have quickly
gotten worse for the Meta-humans.  The Meta-human Protection Act was passed with a near-
unanimous vote, and contrary to what one might think, it does not protect Meta-humans.
 All Meta-humans have become slaves to the government, and an extremist group known as the
MRO is up in arms about it, threatening extreme action.
 Clide takes Dana and Randy to his old apartment, where Randy waits outside as the others go in.
 Clide’s key works, but when he goes inside he sees a spare key by the door.  There is a strange
woman sleeping in his bed, and he sends Dana outside to get Randy.
 While Dana is getting Randy, the woman wakes up, and tries to put Clyde to sleep.  Clearly, she is
a Meta-human.  When she turns on the light, she recognizes him, though he has no idea who she
is.  She is disturbed, however, because she saw him get on a 14 hour flight to Brazil 8 hours
earlier.
 The woman’s name is Rebecca, and she has been seeing Clide, or a version of him, for the past 4
months.
 At 2am, Enigma receives a call from Siren.  She is very frightened, saying that there is an imposter
who looks like her boyfriend in her apartment.  He agrees to head right over.
 Dana and Randy get back into Clide’s apartment, though Randy is reluctant to go in, and Clide
fills them in.  Randy insists that they leave immediately, and tries to drag Clide out.  Clide uses
mind control to make randy let him go, and leaves a note for her arranging a meeting at the
mall later in the day.  He takes her keys on the way out.
 Enigma arrives at Rebecca’s apartment, otherwise known as Clide’s apartment, and she fills him
in.  He agrees to go to the meeting in her place and get her keys back, while she goes to a hotel.
 As Enigma gets ready for the meeting in the morning, he finds out that Facet has requisitioned a
drug that will knock someone out.  When he asks her why she wanted it, she says she might need
it.
 At the meeting, Dana and Randy hang back so it looks like Clide is alone, but Facet is not fooled.
She knocks Randy out quickly with the drug, and then sticks her arm inside Dana’s body, telling
her to freeze.  Meanwhile, Enigma meets Clide, who looks over to see his two friends being
incapacitated.
 In spite of this rocky beginning, Enigma convinces the three that they should join his team, and
gets them all interviews with Sub-director Omen.
 All three pass their psych exams and are hired by the Omega Foundation, though Facet expresses
some reservations about Clide, saying that Rebecca is going to be a problem.  Meanwhile, a
walking velociraptor named Rex that leads another of Omega’s teams walks by to sneer at the new
team members.
 The group, named Strike Force Omega, goes to their new apartment, floor 37 of the Omega
Foundation building, and gets settled in.  They tell each other what they can do, and all come
up with alternate names.  Randy becomes Stryker, Clide becomes Ra, and Dana becomes Ankh.
 The group goes to a bar called the Yellow Ostrich to celebrate, and Stryker has a drinking contest
with Facet.  Ra also gets fairly drunk, though Enigma and Ankh restrain themselves.
 Meanwhile, Rebecca has been waiting anxiously for Enigma to call her back after his meeting, and
eventually calls him.  She is not pleased to hear that he is in a bar, and hangs up on him.
 Ankh helps Facet, who has had way too much to drink, to the restroom, where she seems to be
having trouble staying solid.  Two women walk in and see her phasing in and out, and it looks like
there is going to be a fight as one of them glares at Facet.  Ankh talks them down, however, and
then gets Facet away from them.  Her reward for avoiding a fight?  Facet pukes all over her.
 The group decides it is time to return to their apartment, where they fall into exhausted slumber.
Enigma and Ankh wake up in the middle of the night to find all of them covered in ants.  It
appears as though somebody has dumped a jar of ants onto each of them.
 Ankh gets Facet cleaned up, changes her bedding, and puts her back to bed, while Enigma puts out
a bowl of poisoned bait for the ants and goes back to sleep.  In the morning, Stryker is not
bothered by the ants, but Ra is covered in ant bites.
 Enigma has a vivid dream in which a man with pitch black skin is holding a girl over the edge of a
building, threatening her, and then dropping her.
 In the morning, Facet makes breakfast, and tells the others that she thinks Rex is the one that put
the ants in their beds.  They plot revenge, and eventually decide to use an electronic rooster that
will crow on Rex’s floor only every day.
 During lunch, again prepared by Facet, Enigma sees a blond girl dropping past their window.  It
looks remarkably like the girl from his dream, but when he rushes to the window, he does not see
her.
 At Enigma’s insistence, the group rushes upstairs to check the roof, but is stopped when they get
to floor 39, which belongs to Team Delta.  There is a fire door, and the only one who can get past
it is Stryker.  When he teleports past the door, he is frozen in place by a man-sized ball of light
who questions him.  The man explains that this floor, as well as the roof, belongs to Team Delta,
and is off limits, and Stryker goes back to the others.
 The Delta team member mentions that their orientation packets should have warned them to stay
off the roof, and they realize they never got their packets.  They realize that team Gamma has
struck again.
 Back in the apartment, Ankh draws a picture of the girl police sketch artist style, and recognizes
her as Jill Green, the first known Meta-human.  Jill, she knows, can exist in any and all points in
time at once.  Meanwhile, Enigma does some searching online and finds the building from his
dream, which is in Los Angeles.
 Enigma informs Team Gamma, which is Rex’s team, as they are the ones that handle problems on
the West Coast.  Rex is upset by the lack of detail, and asks for more information, like a time
frame.
 That night, there is a breakout at Stronghold, and 600 people escape.  Team Delta is called in to
deal with it, and the others are on standby.
 Team Delta are the most powerful team that Omega has, and handle the largest problems that
come up all over the country, or even the world.  Alpha Team handles the East coast, while
Gamma handles the West coast, and the newly formed Strike Force Omega handles the Golden
Gate City area.
 Ankh suggests that Enigma try to sleep again in the hopes of getting another dream, and he does
so.  He dreams again, and looks at his watch this time.
 This time, Jill looks directly at him in the dream, and begs him to save her.
 When he wakes up, he knows that the events in his dream are going to occur at noon the following
day.  The group informs Team Gamma of the new information, though Enigma forgets to mention
that the building is different.
 Enigma researches the new building online, and realizes that it is the roof of the building they are
living in.  Facet pulls up the computer files on team Delta, and Enigma recognizes one of them as
the man from his dream.  It is the sixth member of the team, known as Mr. Oblivion.  He is the
only member of Team Delta that does not have blond hair and blue eyes, instead having pitch
black skin.
 The other members of team Delta consist of The Queen, the Puppetmaster, Lust, Legion, and Yes.
Yes is omnipresent, though not always paying attention at the right times.
 While they are looking in the files anyway, the group looks up the other two teams.  Alpha
consists of Freedom, Justice, Liberty, Glory, Star and Stripe.  Team Gamma has Rex, Tech Tech,
Sin, Scarlet, and Minnie C (a 6 year old boy).
 Strike Force Omega is unsure how to handle their realization.  They talk about contacting Scarlet
for advice several times, but never do.
 Not wanting to fight a member of team Delta directly, the group decides they should be up on the
roof before noon, and wait to see what happens.  They think that their mere presence might be
enough to stop it from happening.
 In case their presence is not enough, they come up with a backup plan – they will simply catch Jill
when she falls.  The only problem with that is they don’t know how to get her down safely.
Stryker can teleport to her as she falls, but he can’t bring her with him after he catches her.
 Stryker comes up with the idea of wearing a base jumping parachute so that he can fall safely after
catching Jill, so the group calls around to find one.  They are able to locate one, but it will cost
2000.  Ankh figures that won’t be a problem, since she is rich, but finds out that her assets have
been frozen because she is a meta-human.
 Stryker calls one of his old contacts, Crazy Charlie, who is able to arrange a short term loan.  His
initial offer is way too high on the interest, but Stryker talks him down, and they agree to repay
8000 in exchange for 2000 immediately.  They buy the parachute.
 Tech Tech, who somehow knows that they need to get to the roof, offers them a device that can
transport the others if one person can get up there first.  He wants the group to beta test it for him.
 The next morning, Stryker teleports to the Transamerica Building from his balcony, and from
there to the roof, where he uses Tech Tech’s device to bring the others up.  The first thing they
notice is that everything on the roof is invisible.
 Five minutes after they get onto the roof, a 16 year old boy walks out, takes out a game boy, and
begins to play.  The group makes polite conversation with him while waiting for the scary black
skinned man to show up.  The boy is blond haired and blue eyed, and does not look like any of the
pictures they saw of Team Delta, though he is wearing one of their uniforms.  Stryker assumes he
is Legion, who can change shapes, but he says he is not.
 At about 5 minutes before noon, the group finally realizes that the scary black man has not shown
up because the kid IS the scary black man.  Just as they realize this, he grows large and his skin
turns pitch black.  Jill appears, and he grabs her and holds her over the edge.
 The group tries to distract Oblivion, even throwing things at him and attacking him with their
powers, but nothing takes his attention away from the girl he is interrogating.  He seems to be
demanding information she can’t or won’t share.
 When it looks like Oblivion is going to drop Jill at any moment, Ra panics and charges him.  At
the last moment, Facet jumps between them, and when Oblivion turns to punch Ra, his fist
connects with her head instead, killing her instantly.
 Oblivion comes to his senses, realizes what he has done, and jumps off the building in remorse.
Stryker teleports to him, catches him, and brings him safely to the ground, though Oblivion is
seriously injured in the process.
 On the roof, Ra tries to heal Facet, but she is dead.  Jill says she can help him save Facet, and he
accepts her offer.  She sacrifices herself to provide the energy needed to bring Facet back from
death.
 Downstairs, Mr. Cross himself comes out for Oblivion, calling him Matthew.  He, along with
Facet, is taken to the infirmary.  Facet is seriously injured still, but will recover.  Oblivion,
however, is in much more serious shape, and may not recover.
 Strike Force Omega is questioned, and they make the mistake of mentioning Jill Green, which is
sure to cause them problems in the future.  They tell the whole truth, and are confined to their
apartments until things can be sorted out.
 At breakfast the next morning, Facet walks in, and explains that she is from the future, and that
she absorbed some of Jill’s powers.  Unfortunately, she is not in control of them.  She cooks
breakfast for the group, and then tells them that they need to apologize to Team Gamma.  She also
pulls Ra aside and tells him that Siren is going to be a problem, and that he should kill her.
 That night, Scarlet appears in Enigma’s room, and demands to know why he sent her on a wild
goose chase.  Rex sent her to the building in Los Angeles because Enigma forgot to tell Rex that
the location of his vision had changed.  He apologizes without offering excuses, and she forgives
him.
 Stryker gets permission for members of Strike Force Omega to visit Facet, and they go down one
at a time.  Each of them meets a member of Team Delta, most of who question them on exactly
what happened on the rooftop.  The Queen especially is displeased, and tells them that they’d
better hope Oblivion recovers.
 Ra, disturbed by The Queen’s warning, thinks he should try to heal Oblivion, but has no way of
getting to the infirmary after visiting hours are over.  Stryker teleports to the roof to recover the
transportation device, and runs into Lust while he is there.  An hour later, after she has had her
way with him, he uses the device to get Ra into the infirmary.
 Once Ra gets there, however, he realizes that Oblivion is too seriously hurt for him to risk healing
him, because any mistake at all would kill him.  The group spends a long night worrying and
waiting, but in the morning Oblivion is somewhat improved, and it looks like he will recover.
 Meanwhile, Enigma finds a device in his room that has a live feed from Scarlet’s room.  He
watches her undress, and when the show is done, he calls her to tell her about the camera.  He tries
to convince her that he did not watch her, but she reveals that she had a camera on his room too.
She seems happy that he spied on her, and kisses him.
