A. Texture

The texture of the paper; the smoothness and roughness was tested using different

materials, Iron, rolling pin, and by hand, in pressing on the sample. The pressure contributes

to the effect of the paper’s texture.

B. Tensile Strength

Two blocks, possessing similar measurements, were placed side by side with a 3

inches length between them. A paper sample, Jute paper and Commercial paper, was then

positioned across the blocks, placing a container halfway on the sample. With the table

presented below, the paper was afterward observed as each marble was gradually set down in

the container, whether the paper would immediately collapse and tear or not in an allotted

time.
