THE

VACATION

 Its Christmas season and this is what everyone is waiting for
especially the students who are locked up at home due to the
pandemic. Because of the changes in the education system they are
all eager to bond with their friends. Just like Maya and her friends,
they are eager to be with each other and be able to bond. Maya
wants them all to take a vacation at the beach to relieve their
stress due to the endless paper works and for them to be able to
rest for a long time while they are still on vacation. Maya called her
friends to talk about her decision to take a vacation at the beach.

After they decided on their plan, they agreed to meet only at Maya’s
house on Sunday morning. When the day of their vacation came,
Maya is very excited and happy while preparing her vacation items,
she prepared her bathing suits and some camping equipment since
they don’t have rest house to stay.

A few moments later his friends arrived as well, just like

Maya everyone is excited about their vacation. Although everyone is
ready, they have not yet chosen a place to go but they have only
planned the vacation but there is no concrete information. In
exchanging views, the group decided to go to a less crowded beach
so that they could all relax more. They have already started walking
from Maya’s house, they just chose to walk so that they can enjoy
their reunion again, be able to talk and be able to tease as well.
Friends talk happily and regardless of how far they have travelled.

A few more moments passed and felt tired from walking so

they rested first in an unfamiliar place. The place is also close to
the beach so the air is fresh and the surroundings are quiet.
Because of the tiredness and distance of their walk they all fell
asleep. Maya woke up in the afternoon and because of the silence
and maybe she was also tired, she suddenly woke up as if someone
was looking at them from a distance. She immediately woke up
Leah who was felt asleep in front of the big tree.
 Everyone was startled by the great fear that Maya felt, they
immediately calmed it down and comforted it just because she was
so tired. But on the other hand, their friend Nathan is just silent on
what is happening concealed in their knowledge that it has a very
unpleasant feeling ever since they started walking. They decided to
spend the night there first because the place looks beautiful and
most of all it is quiet but the bad past of this place is hidden from
their knowledge.

THROWBACK OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE…….

There are friends back then who also liked to spend their
vacation on beaches similar to Maya’s situation and also here in the
same place where these friends are now. It was also in the middle
of December when the friends went on vacation in this place when
the tragedy happened that they did not expect that the happy
vacation would have seemed to be a nightmare for everyone. The
police in this area only discovered a ragging body that looked like it
had been eaten by a ferocious animal. Since then no one knows the
real story except a survivor of the group who is still in a mental
hospital and continues to recover due to the trauma he suffered.

REALITY……….

Leah made them a temporary place to sleep. They had their

own food packed and they immediately ate dinner but Maya noticed
again that someone seemed to be looking at them but she just
ignored it maybe because she was just imagining it, she
immediately stood next to Nathan and just talked her friends. The
night was getting darker and almost all of them were asleep but in a
distance a figure was there and seemed to be watching them all.
But Nathan remained awake although he pretends to be asleep and
he could see what was in the distance looking at them he could not
explain what it looked like and he only had one description of what
he saw he was sure it was not human because it looked scary. He
forced himself to fall asleep but no matter what he did he could not
be visited by drowsiness he kept coming back to his mind what he
saw. The next morning Leah noticed that Nathan didn’t seem to
sleep so she asked him what he had been doing all night and it
seemed like he was even better than the drug addict in his
appearance now but Nathan didn’t say a word and he just laughed at
Leah’s question to him. He couldn’t attempt to tell his friends about
what he saw last night because he knew they would just be scared
and he didn’t want to ruin their vacation just because of that so he
just ignored it and bonded with others as if there was nothing wrong
with their vacation.

They never left that place because they already like the
beautiful presence of the place so Maya invited them to bathe in the
sea to reduce their negative thoughts. The friends had a lot of fun
but on the other hand a friend of theirs was entertained by the
beautiful plants and it entered a dense part of the place. As Trish
continued to comfort herself, she realized that a strange creature
was standing behind her and when she approached him correctly, it
hit her on the head with a hard object, causing her to lose
consciousness. When Trish woke up, she noticed that she couldn’t
move because of the severe beating so she shouted loudly even
though she knew it is impossible for her friends to hear her. On the
other hand, Ashley noticed that Trish is missing so she informed the
others but they just ignored it, maybe because she enjoys finding
plants because they know she loves plants.

After taking a bath with friends, Maya suddenly asked if

Trish was back but Ashley immediately replied that it was not in
their tent yet. Everyone was alarmed that Trish was not coming
home so they looked for her in the thick part of the forest. During
their search, Ashley suddenly cried out because of what she saw,
because she stepped on her friends’ dress which was full of blood
and it was torn. On the other hand, Nathan felt something looking
behind them and when he peeked at it, he was surprised by how it
looked, this is what he saw that night he didn’t fall asleep all night.
He was so scared and he immediately shouted to grab everyone’s
attention, they wondered why he shouted, so Maya immediately
asked what was the problem, he immediately replied “come on,
someone is looking at us and it’s not man, we need to get out of
here”. The creature immediately appeared and they were all scared,
they ran one by one to escape the monster but Ashley
unintentionally changed her path so the monster followed her.

When Nathan and Maya arrived at their tent, they found out
that Ashley was missing and due to the incident the two did not
attempt to return to the forest to find Ashley. They immediately put
away their belongings and immediately cleaned up the area and
looked for someone who could help them. They walked along the
beach while Maya’s cry was steady, and not far away Nathan could
see a man approaching them. When they approached the man, they
immediately sought help for their friends’ who had possibly perished
in the middle of the forest.

The tragedy that took in this place was repeated for the
second time and for some inexplicable reason the vacationers who
came here and encountered those creatures was never found again.
