FOOD PRESERVATION

PRACTICES
What is Food Preservation?
Food preservation is one of the methods to protect food from
unwanted microbial growth. After the food is produced, we store
and protect it by covering the rice and curry with lids to keep
away flies and other insects. By this, we are protecting it from
any infection caused by them. This is a short-term condition. Food
preservation, on the other hand, is done to preserve food for a
longer time.
These are methods used to preserve our food!
But first what are the factors should consider
in preserving our food?

1 PREPARATION
Preparing food for eating
requires a selection of cooking
methods, measurement, and a
combination of ingredients.
Preparation takes place
before we start our cooking or
anything else we do in our
kitchen.

Natural food preservation methods have preceded
human history, and have evolved with the
development of temperature-controlled
environments. What originally began as a way of
surviving winter months has evolved into a
cherished practice to feel more self-sufficient.

preservation plays a huge role in order
to prolong fresh foods and lessen the
need to go outside and buy food.
