Trailing Edge:
˗ The edge of the propeller closest to the hub's moves downwards. This is the closest edge
to the propeller as viewed from behind. When producing forward thrust, the trailing edge
retreats from the flow.
Leading Edge:
˗ The edge of the propeller blade closest to the hub's forward end. When looking at the
propeller from behind, this edge is the furthest away. When producing forward force, the
leading edge leads into the flow.
Hub:
˗ The hub is an important part of the outside of the aircraft that is connected to the
propeller blades.
Blade Tip:
˗ The tip of the propeller blade extends from the root and tapers like a leaf. The narrowest
section width. It is the same on the front and back and joins the leading and trailing
edges.
Chord:
˗ The chord is an imaginary straight line that connects an aerofoil's leading and trailing
edges. The chord of a wing, stabilizer, or propeller is calculated by measuring the
distance between the leading and trailing edges in the airflow direction.
