Mobile Intelligence (MI) – CLM Certification
Overview

MI (Mobile Intelligence) includes CLM functionality which enables mobile

application users to display presentations (HTML5 or PDF) to customers and
track feedback.

Agencies have to develop HTML5 content as per IQVIA technical guidelines

IQVIA has built a partnership program to provide MI CRM – CLM dedicated

platform to the digital agencies and certify the ones successfully implementing
our guidelines

IQVIA will communicate the list of certified Agencies to any clients requesting it

Onboarding
• How do I join the Agency Certification Program?
Agency has to sign the agreements and fill the onboarding form. Contact agency@iqvia.com to receive the documents.
• What are the costs? When do I pay?
1700 USD for six months. You need to pay within 30 days from the date of invoice.
• What happens when I don’t pay on time?
Your services will get suspended until the payment is made
Training
• When do I receive the training?
IQVIA will schedule the training after the agreements are signed. Typically, the training is scheduled every Wednesday for 90 minutes
via WebEx. Alternatively, you can also send your request to agency@iqvia.com
• Do you have training pre-requisites?
Yes, you should have experience with HTML5 / CSS3 and js development
• How many training sessions do I attend?
There is only 1 training session

Sandbox
• How do I get access to MI CLM Sandbox?
Credentials to access MI CLM agency sandbox will be given within 2 business days after the agency completes the training
• How many user licenses are provided on MI CLM sandbox?
1 admin user (MI PC) and 5 sales rep users (MI Touch) will be provided.
• Can I get additional user licenses on MI CLM sandbox?
Yes, additional licenses can be availed at an additional cost.

Partner Portal
• What is Partner Portal?
It is a portal wherein an Agency can access all the MI CLM-related documentation and request technical support by creating cases.
Access to the portal will be provided once the agreement is signed.
• How soon do I get support?
Support team will answer your ticket within 1 business day after you create a case via Partner Portal

Certification & Subscription

• How do I get certified?
Agency has to submit a test presentation via Partner Portal. IQVIA will evaluate the presentation within 2 business days
• After initial 6 months, how do I retain certification?
Agency has to subscribe to the program at a fee of 1700 USD for 6 months to get full services (includes Sandbox and Support).
Alternatively, agency can subscribe to a LITE package at a fee of 800 USD for 6 months to retain their certification status,
access to product related latest documentation and webinars
• Is there any recertification?
Re-certification is necessary when there are new updates to the CLM module. You will be notified in advance. It will be a free exercise
during your subscription period.
• What happens if I don’t subscribe to the agency program?
You will lose your certification and the program benefits. You will no longer be part of the certified list of partners shared with the clients.
• Can I get certification on CFE (Compliant File Email) content?
Yes, You will trained and certified on CFE as well during the course of the program on your request.

MI TOUCH IPA
• Does an agency have to subscribe to Apple Developer Enterprise program?

Yes, if you are using an iPad. This is required to resign MI Touch IPA using your company certificate. Otherwise, an agency cannot
distribute and deploy MI Touch app on iPad. Registration is available at https://developer.apple.com/programs/enterprise/

• My organization do not have an eligibility to subscribe to Apple Developer Enterprise program? What should I do?
In such a scenario, please subscribe to Apple Developer program with an Ad Hoc provisioning profile (supports upto 100 devices) .
Registration at https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll/

• My application to Apple program is in-process. Meantime, do you have an alternative?

It is recommended you have Enterprise subscription before joining the program. However, Agency can use MI Touch iPad simulator.
Please be informed, this is an alternative and not a replacement to the app. Final test have to done on iPad before sending the files
for certification evaluation.

Behind the scenes

• When you tap Install on the iPad screen you are accessing the MI Touch .IPA file which we have
installed on your MI Sandbox
• An .IPA file is a zipped file containing an iOS app. It is usually encrypted with Apple's FairPlay
DRM technology
• The app is distributed as In-House app

What is an In-House app?

It is an application distribution solution

developed by Apple

• Allows agencies to develop & deploy apps to their employees’ iOS devices
• To deploy an In-House App such as MI Touch, agencies need to subscribe to Apple’s iOS Developer Enterprise
Program
• More information can be found on Apple’s site here
• In-House Apps must be distributed only to employees of the company
• It allows you to manage private Enterprise App catalog
• Important: signing the MI Touch is not needed if you plan to use Win8.x devices to develop & test your
presentation

iOS Developer Enterprise Program Notes

• Registration to the iOS Developer Enterprise Program costs $299/year
• You can register to Apple’s site here
• Distribution Certificate is valid for three years and can be renewed 6 month before expiration.
• Provisioning profile are valid for one year and can be renewed at any time
• After a Provisioning profile or Distribution Certificate expires, any apps signed with that Provisioning profile and Distribution certificate
will no longer run or install on a device
• It takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks to complete the registration

Important: Companies with less than 100 employees are not eligible for Apple Enterprise program. In such a scenario, subscribe to
Apple Developer program with an Ad Hoc provisioning profile.
