Example of active voice and passive voice
1. The present simple passive: - the cat attacked my sister (Active) - my sister is attacked by that cat (Passive) 2. The present continuous passive: - The postman is delivering the mail (Active) - The mail is being delivered by the postman (Passive) 3. The passive in the past: - Security guard caught a thief (Active) - A thief was caught by the security guard yesterday (Passive) 4. The passive in the future: - We will watch an action movie thus evening (Active) - An action movie will be watched this evening (Passive) 5. The passive with modals: - yanti should drink water every day (Active) - water should be drunk every day by yanti (Passive)
