Undangan Lisan
Undangan lisan masih sering
kita jumpai. Di Jawa, sering kali
dapat undangan ‘selametan’ ini
dan itu. Meski sekarang gak
jarang pakai undangan kertas
kecil.
Undangan lisan juga bisa melalui
telepon. Contoh seseorang
mengundang ke acara ulang
tahun, dll. melalui panggilan
telepon saja.
Dalam Bahasa Inggris, kita
menggunakan spoken invitation
dalam berbagai kegiatan.

Harry : Gina, we're planning to go to the carnival tonight. Do you

want to join us?
Gina : Well, I don't know yet. I have no plan tonight, but I don't
really like carnival.
Roy : Come on Gina, I'm sure it will be so much I promise you
will love it.
Harry : There will be many performers and attractions, so l’m
sure it will not be boring.
Gina : OK, you won. I will go with you guys. What time shall we
leave?
Harry : At 6 pm.
