Search for information about the electricity system of any country other than Spain
and complete a table including (for a recent year):
● Installed power by technology
● Electricity produced by technology
● Capacity factor by technology
● Equivalent hours by technology

For the table you may use the Excel file provided.

Complete your findings with the historic evolution of the market (which new
technologies are being installed and which are being abandoned), including demand
evolution.

Historic evolution of the market and demand evolution:

In 2005, with the entry into production of Camisea in the south of the country, the energy matrix for
generating electricity was replaced from Petroleum to Natural Gas. An attempt is made to
develope Non-Conventional Renewable Power Plants, such as Solar and Wind, but also Biomass
Power Plants. Coal is not a very abundant resource, so tendency is to be less and less relevant.
And finally, Hydraulic power plants have had a leading role for decades.
