Gamesa Offshore > Superior reliability for offshore sites

First prototype

In the summer 2013, Gamesa has successfully completed the

installation of its G128-5.0 MW Offshore prototype at Arinaga
Quay, located in the Canary Islands (Atlantic Ocean).

This is a key milestone in an ambitious development plan that

builds on validated, proven technologies. This first unit has
allowed to achieve the Type Certificate as scheduled.
