1. Workforce diversity trends:
It means that there are variety of cultures in companies. These workforce may
come from many countries with many ethnicity (White, Asian,…). They work
together and supply for companies their effort and capacity to do the best job and
develop the companies.
Example: Google Company has a diversity workforce, it includes lots of people
come from different countries around the world. Google knows that each culture
will have their own advantage and by using diversity workforce, Google has
increased their HR performance as well as the revenue.
2. Globalization and competition trends
It means that organization not only work/ manufacture in thier own country but
also extend to many places in the world. Globalization compels HR manager to be
more efficient. More globalization means more competition, and more competition
means more pressure to be “World class”
Example : THACO sets a strategy to become the leading multidisciplinary
industrial group in ASEAN, they continue to strongly recruit a large number of

Example: covid 19 has become the economic challenge because of it damage and
what it has done to our life. People have to stay at home and do not have any
chance to work, this has made their life become difficult. And because people
cannot go to work, companies and factories have to close their doors and this had
delayed the world development. It also reduces GDP almmost all countries in the
world. But with the role of HR, HR has changed from work offline to work online,

4. Economic and Workforce Projection
It is a prediction of the economy and labor force facing each organization. In which
the highlights are the unemployment rate, slow-growing labor force and aging
population. Each organization must consider, analyze and find ways to deal with
each prediction and economic development, create causes for HR and take
measures to address them.
Example: Follow the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, “Annual growth rate”, all
the percentage from 2014-24 as lower than 2004-14 in all gender, race or ethnicity,
showing slow development of the labor force. And the median age over each year

It is a variety of HR technologies are helping HR professionals manage their
biggest challenges today, with other technologies soon to appear on the horizon.
