1. Complete the sentences with the correct word(s).

My French Château

A lot of people ask me about where I live. I don't live in one place. I'm Roy Roland, the international
rock star! I have a lot of houses all around the world.

My favourite home is in the south of France, about 15 miles from Montpellier. I live there for two to
three months a year. It is an old French Château. There is a very big garden with lots of trees. I have a
small stable for my horses and two tennis courts. Of course, there is an indoor and an outdoor
swimming pool. I love swimming and when I'm not in the pool, I'm in the sea. We have a private
beach!

The house is enormous. There are 12 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a lot of sitting rooms and an
enormous dining room. I love the dining room because I like to have dinner parties with my friends,
but my favourite room is my studio. I often use the studio to record my music and I keep my guitars
there. The studio is at the top of the house and it has a roof terrace with fantastic views of the
countryside and the sea. I love my job! I know I am very lucky.
