Hello Parker

Would it be possible to do a web story about Nicholas’ upcoming funeral? As you know it’s on Thursday
and we’d like to see as many people as possible in effort to celebrate his life but also call on the
community to be vigilant about child abuse and protection of children and youth in the care of the DCYF.

Whilst the priest will not be issuing edicts on what to do concerning department he will, I believe
attempt to convey that with the loss of Nicholas comes big shoes to fill for abuse prevention and child
advocacy after his two decades of activism and lobbying for a better system.

Is there a chance we can speak today? Unfortunately the funeral was cancelled due to COVID, but we
had over 80 people coming including elected officials.

Very troubling as it’s so last minute. Unfortunately I don’t think my late husband is going to have a
proper funeral.

Hello Parker

Just wanted to send you a quick note that a longtime friended 20 years of Nicholas at the State House
from lobbying, Fr. Bernard Healey head lobbyist of the Catholic Church in Rhode Island, will be presiding
over a funeral mass on August 4th (One week from today) at 11am at Our Lady of Mercy Church in East
Greenwich Rhode Island. Is it possible that a web story could be posted so that people can learn about
the memorial mass? Father Healey spoke very highly of Nicholas.

I will send you other details as they are finalized. I am not speaking to any other journalists as I find
WPRI and the Journal to be acting very strange with the Journal not even writing an article or publishing
an obituary for my late husband.

Please let me know. Many thanks.

Very sincerely yours

Louise

Dear Parker,

The password-protected Cicilline file on our cloud has been deleted. The identical folder on our Google
account as well as our laptop is also deleted. I would have been permitted to open the file on March 1,
2021, one year after Nicholas's death, but now the file is nowhere to be found. This coincides with
DDOSing the website and hacking into it. So much stuff is gone, including DCYF news articles going back
to the 1980s, Nicholas personal lawsuit files, private notes, and so many other files.

Again, this is and of itself is not newsworthy, I don't think. But if I am unable to get Google or a laptop
specialist to restore the files who knows what could have been there.

Just trying to keep you in the loop.

Also, for some very strange reason after inviting 150+ people and informing the media with his
permission Father Bernard Healey cancelled the funeral. Nicholas' uncle Mike and I are devastated. This
is what he sent on Friday, cancelling Tuesday's 11 am service (this being a total of two funerals we have
had cancelled on us:

"Dear Louise and Michael

Unfortunately a dear family member of mine has just died. The funeral is Tuesday out of state. I am
unavailable now this Tuesday for Nicholas’ Mass. WE will have to postponed Nicholas’s Mass until it can
be rescheduled. Sorry for the incontinence.

God Bless

Fr. Healey"
