REACTION ESSAY

1)The effects of globalization and how far is it advantageous.

Globalization refers to interconnectedness among countries through

various relationships, from business, geopolitics and technology to travel,

culture and the media.

globalization effects businesses in a variety of ways like increasing

competition, more diverse markets, increased the flow of trade, capital,

information and people, share technology common knowledge and

promoting a diversified workforce.

Globalization is not a zero sum game. everybody wins, but the real income

gains per capita are unevenly distributed globally, not only between but

also within countries. Globalization is associated with rapid and significant

human changes. the movement of people from rural to urban areas has

accelerated and the growth of cities in the developing world especially is

linked to substandard living for many family disruption social and domestic

violence are increased.

Globalization allows companies to find lower cost ways to produce their

products. It also increases global competition which drives prices down and

creates a larger variety of choices for consumers. Lowered costs help

people in both developing and already developed countries live better on

less money.

Globalization has therefore transform not just the role of nation states, but

also of families abilities to maintain and protect their members. Families are

compelled to be more self-reliant in an environment where they may have

fewer options available to them.

it enhances the students ability to acquire and utilize knowledge. it

enhances the ability of learners to access, assess, adapt and apply

knowledge, to think independently to exercise appropriate judgment and

collaborate with others to make sense of new situations.

The effects of globalization on education bring fast development of

communication technology and foreseeing changes in school systems

around the world as the ideas, values and knowledge and change the role
of students and teachers. Education system is closely related to technology

development. Even though some adverse consequences of globalization

includes terrorism job insecurity, currency fluctuation and price instability.

The benefits of globalization includes increased the flow of capital, better

products at lower prices, collaboration and shared resources, cross cultural

exchange, spread of knowledge and technology, quick technological

advances, increased household income and increased open mindedness

and tolerance.

Increased the flow of capital, The economical benefits of globalization to

much of this world are hard to ignore. Increase the crate to larger and more

diverse markets results in greater revenues and increased gross domestic

product GDP. Globalization also means that businesses can realize greater

profits by markets and take advantage of lower local costs.

By expanding into new countries, businesses reach markets that are

hungry for their noble goods and eager to pay top dollar for them. They can

achieve higher revenues in unsaturated markets while saving money via

the lower cost structure that results from cheaper labor and materials.

Better products at lower prices, global competition in the markets leads to

both quality and affordability. As consumers realize they have a variety of

options from all corners of the globe, they will choose to purchase the best

and cheapest options, requiring companies to enhance quality and provide

effable price if they wish to remain competitive. The outsourcing of work

also contributes to lower prices, as many companies hire foreign laborers

to do the work for the lower pay.

Collaboration and shared resources, combining efforts and resources

allows for more creativity and innovation to solve problems that affect

people all around the globe. Conservation efforts and efforts to combat

rising carbon emissions

Cross cultural exchange not all the positive effects of globalization take

place at the scale of billions in trillions of dollars. Ross culture exchanges of

ideas, food, music, media and language are just as valuable.

Spread of knowledge and technology, development countries often appeal

to investors because of the huge potential for growth the resulting

advancements lead to results like the spread of motorized farm machinery

in Southeast Asia for instance there had previously only been manual

labor.

Quick technological advances, for developing countries, especially, being

able to skip the long technological development processes of industrialized

countries brings rapid progress. For example, cell phones came quickly to

the African continent, with cell phone use currently growing every year in

sub Saharan Africa and approaching 90% in countries such as South

Africa.

Increased household income, the Arian Center for international political

economy reports that globalization has helped produce high inflated rates

in western economies, so each dollar of consumer spending goes further.

Increased open mindedness and tolerance, it's easy for people to fear

others whom they have never met. Foreigners come to see completely

unfamiliar under such conditions.
