These introductions start with a general (big) topic then move to more specific information (main point).

Some sea creatures are even intelligent. The octopus is one of these. There are three main reasons why the

Japanese cuisine is becoming more and more popular all over
the world. There are increasing numbers of Japanese restaurants in
America, Australia and the Middle East as people develop a taste for
food from Japan. One of the main reasons that food from Japan is
becoming more popular is because of the huge variety of dishes and
regional specialties. Three of the most popular categories of Japanese
cuisine are rice dishes, noodle dishes and meat dishes.
