Problem 1. How can the Covid-19 pandemic affect people in making online
shopping transactions?
2. The pandemic requires each individual to reduce transactions on the
spot directly. Is there any indication of an increase in transactions through
the E-commerce platform?

Methodology Quantitative research to measure how changes in e-commerce buying and
selling transactions during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
The data used comes from two sources, namely external and internal data,
external data is obtained from the website of the data provider that
supports this research, while the internal data is obtained from the data
collection process with the questionnaire distribution method.

Result From the data collected, before the pandemic, there were only 9
respondents who chose E-commerce, but during this pandemic there were
14 respondents who initially chose conventional markets and then
switched to using E-commerce so that 23 respondents chose to shop via E-
commerce.

From the questionnaire, 15 respondents answered that they did not use E-
commerce at all before the pandemic, but there was a decrease in only 9
respondents who did not use E-commerce during the pandemic. Then there
was a change to respondents who transacted 1-3 times a month before the
pandemic, as many as 44 respondents decreased to 38 respondents during
the pandemic. As well as an increase in the number of respondents who
transacted 4-7 times a month before the pandemic as many as 5
respondents and an increase of 11 respondents in a pandemic condition
Conclusion It was concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia had a
significant effect on the pattern of using E-commerce by the community as
a means of meeting needs
