HOW TO CONTACT / REPORT CRIMES, ASB etc.

TO SUSSEX POLICE
1. For emergencies, immediate threat to life, property etc.:
a. Telephone 999 or 112
b. Send a text message to 999*
c. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, call the textphone service 18000
d. Send a text message to the emergencySMS service
(NB. You must pre-register your mobile phone to use the service, the instructions
are below).

2. For non-emergencies:
a. Online – if you have a computer and access to the internet / email then you can use
the online reporting form on the Sussex Police website, www.sussex.police.uk

b. Email – send an email to 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk

In all cases, Sussex Police would welcome any CCTV and/or vehicle dashboard camera footage of
crime incidents, anti-social behaviour, suspicious activities such as drug-taking or drug-dealing –
vehicle registration numbers are especially helpful.
