PLANNING FOR COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC HEALTH WEBINAR

I. Objective:

At the end of the exercise, the student will be able to:

1. Plan for the successful execution of the upcoming Community and Public
Health Block Webinar.

II. Instructions:
1. The Health Care batch will plan for a webinar per block or section. There will be
a total of seven (7) webinars for the entire batch. However, you are required to
join the webinar of your block only.

2. Each block/section will suggest possible TOPICS for the Webinar and from the
suggested topics, they will only select one (1) topic that is relevant to the
planned webinar.

3. Identify the goals or tasks, as well as the topics or related issues/conditions (must
be related to Community/Public Health).

4. Formulate one (1) theme per block and one (1) slogan from the suggested
topics.

5. Discuss the program flow and what is required to be conducted in the webinar.

6. Assign Committees for the following:


a. Program flow
b. Props & Physical arrangement (virtual venue, backgrounds, powerpoint
presentation)
c. Sound System/Technical team
d. Entertainment
e. Letters/Registration/Certificates to be given to the speakers
f. Documentation
g. Finance (if applicable)

7. Select or invite 1 guest speaker that can talk about the chosen Community &
Public Health topic/issue. Make sure they are credible.
NOTE: Ask a resume/CV from your chosen speaker to invite. Write an invitation
letter to your possible guest speakers to be attested by the Health Care subject
head and to be noted by the Dean.

8. Make a written output or draft of what was discussed by the class and
present it to the preceptors assigned for each block/section.

9. This seminar is equivalent to 10% of the students’ FINAL GRADE.

10. This is a BLOCK EFFORT of freshmen Health Care students.

11. Make a VIDEO DOCUMENTATION as a block from the planning and


preparations until the webinar proper. This is to be uploaded in Google Drive
and the link to be submitted to the Health Care faculty members via the subject
head through MS Teams. This output is equivalent to one long lecture exam in
the post-midterm half which is to be graded by all the faculty members of the
Health Care team.
