The following are possible areas on which the NQT may wish for you to focus:

Are the objectives specific and achievable? 3-4 are sufficient

 Structure of the lesson:

Introduction, Development, Conclusion, Pacing

 Methodologies

 Pupil activities
On-task work by pupils, group/pair work

 Use of resources
Distribution, use and storage

 Differentiation

 Assessment

 Classroom management
Classroom layout, rules, routines, consequences

 Communication skills

 Use of voice
 Relationships and interactions between teacher and pupils and pupils with
each other
 Questioning
 Explaining
 Feedback to pupil/s
