planning time for shipments that is extremely difficult to manage using manual planning processes.

Big Basket developed a business model which assured on-time delivery. Big Basket relied on a hub and spoke
distribution model for efficient, fast delivery. It had warehouses in each city where it operated. From these
warehouses, products were transported to three main hubs in the city from where the final delivery of groceries
took place.
