CARTAGENA THE FANTASTIC

Cartagena, a place of charm, with its streets frozen in time, its contrasts between

the modern and the colonial, its striking colors in every corner and its memorable

sunsets. All this will lead you to live a unique experience.

If you are a lover of history, colonial beauty, beautiful views, viewpoints, natural

landscapes and white sand beaches, you definitely have to visit Cartagena de

Indias.

PLACES:

Popa Hill

Located at a height of 145 meters is the La Popa

monastery, the highest point in Cartagena that will allow

you to have a privileged view of the old city and the sea

that surrounds it.

San Felipe Castle


This is one of the most famous tourist places in Cartagena. And it is not for less,

since it is a Castle built in the 17th century considered a great work of Spanish

engineering. So much so, that it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will find checkpoints, eight cannons, tunnels, galleries and a statue of

Commander General Don Blas de Lezo.

Considered one of the seven wonders of Colombia.

Historical Center

Cartagena de Indias is a historic city, when visiting it

it is inevitable to fall in love with its history and the

magic that it transmits with its cobblestone walls, its

colonial colors, its emblematic squares that will

transport you to the times of the Inquisition.

Walls of Cartagena
they are distinctive icons of this beautiful city. They

stretch over 13 kilometers. They are one of the most

preserved fortifications in South America, and it is one

of the tourist sites in Cartagena Colombia that you

must visit. In addition to going through them, stopping

to watch the sunset is one of those moments that freeze in your memory and leave

you speechless.

Further on from the walled city is the Bodeguita pier where you can take a sunset

cruise

Enjoy good music, a cocktail and a delicious appetizer while you watch the sun go

down in a beautiful sunset.

Rosario Island

Cartagena is surrounded by beautiful beaches that is

why it has become a perfect city to connect with the

sun, the beach and the sea. Between those beaches,

there is a complex of 27 islands known as the Rosario

Islands.

If you like to know the most popular beaches, you can go to Isla Grande, Isla

Cholón and Agua Azul beach on an excursion to the Rosario Islands.


If you prefer environments with few people and more private beaches, we

recommend other beaches such as Isabela Island or Pirate Island, which you can

visit on an excursion.

Barú

Blue waters, soft sand beaches, transparent waters,

mangrove forests and emerald green coasts are the

beauties that you will see when you visit the beaches

of Barú in Playa Blanca. For that reason, it was

nominated as one of the most beautiful beaches in

Colombia.

Located 45 minutes by boat from Cartagena

It is quite popular and we recommend that when you arrive, you go a little further

than the main entrance to enjoy some peace and quiet. You can meet her on an

excursion to Playa Blanca.
