Traditional 

Vietnamese cuisine has impressed in the world
not only because of its fun and richness in nutritions as well as its
diversity, but also because of its robust flavor
and delicious taste, meaning and the cultural values hidden in each dish, which
reflect the country’s history. Among those traditional dishes, banh
chung profoundly touchesd my heart. There is no place in the world that has
such the uniqueness a unique offering to the ancestors
of wrapping green cakes for ancestors duringon Tet holiday as
like the Vietnamese people in Vietnam, where family members take turn
wrapping and boiling the cakes all night long. It is no exaggeration to say that
Banh chung is truly the soul of Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration.
