Is Mathematics Invented or Discovered? Provide pieces of evidence.

For me Mathematics is Discovered and invented in a significant way because even

though prime numbers, perfect numbers etc. they are manmade ideas, and their properties have
been discovered but if you think for a moment, had we not thought of these numbers, they would
still have been there. Mathematics is more discovered by the past or decades ago, but for
nowadays generation Mathematics is most Invented especially in the formula’s in the subject of
math and science that making new devices how can they improve the Ios or android updates
without mathematics.

The Evidence for Mathematics is Invented about non-Platonist position that gives us greater
freedom of thought. If we accept that mathematics is invented, rather than discovered, we can be
more daring, ask deeper questions, and be motivated to create further change.

Aristotle told us that heavier objects fall faster than lighter ones which are very justifiable until
Galileo disagrees with the concept. Minus the air resistance from the equation and the objects of
different masses will fall at the same rate and just like that, Aristotle’s theory fell too.

With that to begin with, an arbitrary unit called Galileo came up. So that’s how the equation d=t2
is derived. Galileo was followed by Isaac Newton who discovered a force called gravity.

Many physicists see how mathematics can reveal the secrets of the world that it seems to be part
of nature. So, again, is really math invented or discovered? It is both. We invented the concepts
and discovers the relation between these concepts.
