In some countries, governments are encouraging industries and businesses to

move to regional areas outside the big cities. Do the advantages of this trend
outweigh the disadvantages?
The authorities of some nations are apt to incentivize indigenuous companies to
resettle in the countryside far from metropolitan areas. Opinions diverge on
whether the benefits of this action outstrip the drawbacks. From my own
perspective, I take side with those who believe in the balance between
advantages and disadvantages.
On the positive side, that businesses and industries relocate their working places
acts as a precursor to promote the economic growth of the whole country.
Firstly, with the advent of large companies, the financial conditions of rural
areas will be significantly improved to catch up with big capitals. On top of that,
local inhabitants are able to enhance their quality of life substantially.
Moreover, the appearance of businesses as well as industries provide aboriginal
residents with many job opportunities, which helps to cope with unemployment
rates in regional places. Secondly, the relocation carried out by entrepreneurs
brings tremendous benefits to not only the countryside but also major urban
areas. This will exercise a multitude of positive environmental impacts on cities,
including reducing pollution. Carbon footprints and traffic congestion, which
are the main causes of air and noise pollution, can be dealt with efficiently
thanks to companies’ moving away. It can be safely assumed that the
encouragement from governments are exceedingly advantageous for the
sustainable development of nations.
On the negative side, the act of moving to regional land might impose negative
effects on businesses and industries. Managers are likely to be overburdened
with external pressure when moving their officers. Particularly, it calls for a lot
of time for entrepreneurs to get accustomed to a new working environment.
There are lists of tasks to complete for the purpose of surveying the local market
and meeting the demands of indigenuous people. Not to mention, efforts and
money are required to erect buildings for working and manufacturing. To
encapsulate the point, it is crucial that businessmen make a thorough
preparation to come up against difficulties during the process of resettlement.
By way of conclusion, I am of the opinion that the advantages of this action are
equal to its disadvantages. Personally, industries as well as businesses ought to
be encouraged to expand their offices in lieu of moving completely to regional
areas.
