Enumerate at least five (5) kinds of Institutions and describe their structures.

1. Adamson University - The University’s organizational structure has a concept of administrative theory
because the organization follows the top to bottom approach or the hierarchal arrangement of authority
where the administrators are well organized according to which can manage the task effectively. So the
Adamson University’s structure starts from President then Vice President followed by Education
Department, and then lastly the different colleges.

2. Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – This Institution has a concept of administrative theory because it follows
the classical top to bottom or the hierarchal arrangement of authority from The Monetary Board, which
exercises the powers and functions of the Bangko Sentral, is composed of seven members appointed by
the President of the Philippines. The seven members are the Governor, who is the head of the BSP, and
the Chairman of the Monetary Board which is a member of Cabinet to be designated by the President of
the Philippines and five members who shall come from the private sector. The BSP’s organizational
structure is composed of Executive Management Services, three functional sectors, and the security plan
complex.

3. Department of Tourism – the Department of Tourism has a concept of administrative theory which is
headed by The Office of the Secretary which provides leadership, direction, and substance to the overall
operations of the Department, then followed by The Tourism Promotion Sector that has the primary
function of promoting the Philippines as a tourist destination domestically and internationally, next is
The Tourism Services and Regional Offices Sector which is tasked to ensure the pleasant entry, stay, and
exit of tourists, and The Tourism Planning, Product Development and Coordination Sector which is
responsible for the formulation and updating of the Tourism Master Plan, together with its component
programs, lastly The Internal Services Sector which ensures the smooth and legal functioning of the
operations of the Department through the provision of effective and efficient advice and services in the
areas of personnel management, human resources development, general services administration,
computerization and information technology services, budgetary, financial and management services,
and including investigatory and advisory services.

4. De La Salle University – The De Lassalle University’s organizational structure is also a concept of

administrative theory because the organization shows the top to bottom approach where the personnel
or the administrators are well classified according to who can manage the task effectively. The De
Lassalle University is headed by the Chancellor/President, followed by the Vice Chancellor for
Academics, and then the Director, the Lasallian Mission Ministers, Administrative Assistant, Office
Associate, Chair Community Health Development Program, Chair Community Service-Learning Program
includes the NSTP Unit.

5. Department of Health – This Institution has a concept of Administrative theory because it consist or it
follows the top to bottom approach or the hierarchal arrangement of authority and shows that they are
organized among roles to which focuses on improving the efficiency of its management. It is headed by
the Office of the Secretary, then the Office of the Chief Staff which holds the Legal Service, Internal Audit
Service, and Media Relation Staff. Next is the Financial Management Team, Health Policy and Systems
Development Team, Public Health services Team, Health Regulation Team, Procurement and Supply
Chain Management Team, and lastly the Field Implementation and Coordination Team.
