Course Code and Title: GE104 – PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

Lesson Number: 3
Topic: Models of Communication 2

Introduction:

Models are representations. Models are envisioned to display a simple image of

usually a more complicated information, event, or process for the vital attributes that could
be stressed and examined. Models concentrate on some properties that their creators take
into account and less emphasis on other features. Therefore, by studying models, you learn
about the object, occurrence, or method and the perspective of the creator.

In the study of communication, models perform in this same way, simplifying complex
things that help scholars and learners better comprehend the components and methods
