Challenge: Your task is to create a website that discusses 5 relationships that a character
in your book experiences.

Home Page: Create a list of characters that you plan to discuss. For each character,
type at least 2 sentences that will serve as a summary of the character’s relationship and
it will also serve as the first sentences of the relationships that you will discuss.

Pages 1-5:
Select 5 characters that the character has a relationship with. For each character, you
will create a page that discusses the person’’s relationship with this character. Each page
must include:
1. A sentence with a character trait (ADJECTIVE) that describes the type of
relationship that the character has with this person. For example:
I feel responsible for taking care of Gabriel. I don’t know why. I just met him.
2. A short story that explains the relationship/character trait. (Evidence) You may
use one of the following sentence starters:
● One day when…
● It all started…
● I remember the time when…
● One of the most important things that happened is when…
● It all started when…
● What happened was…
3. Connect the story to the character trait/adjective. (Reason)
4. Tell more of the story. (Evidence) Feel free to use one of the transitions:
● For example…
● To illustrate…
● In this case…
● In other words…
● To demonstrate….
5. Connect this part of the story to the trait/adjective. (Reason)
