and even college textbooks and taught as part of the compulsory K-12 curriculum. This would be

Dalagang Bukid (1937), one of his estimated 10,000 novels, portrays a portrait of an ideal young Filipina
maiden with a sweet smile, as if she loves the rural life in the Philippines. His use of vivid colors clearly
conveys the impression that life in the Philippines during his period, especially around 1937, was heavily
reliant on agriculture, as evidenced by his other works depicting farmers planting rice. Also Amorsolo
live in the province before that is why he portraits his life experience before into his artwork showing his
past life into a beautiful way of paintings.

life. If it is the perfection of nature, the chaos of creation, or the life of a human. Amorsolo's drawings,
as you can see, typically represent real-life scenarios. Where it is all about farming, nature, and his loved
