The most known poem written by Rizal in Ateneo, ‘Mi Primera Inspiracion’ (My First Inspiration) was

dedicated to his mother on her birthday. It is believed to have been written in the year 1874, upon the
release from prison of his mother.

The first poem Rizal wrote during his Ateneo days was Mi Primera Inspiracion. It was written
by Jose in 1874 when he was fourteen years old. It is an expression of good wishes which was full of
endearing filial affection for his mother’s birthday. Upon the release of his mother in 1874, his poetic
heart was awaken and started to write again.

I used My First Inspiration as the foundation for my artwork. This artwork is about life's challenges that
we cannot give up on. As you can see, the frog was being devoured by a duck. The duck represents us
humans who face difficulties in life, challenges, and conflicts, while the frog represents a problem for us
humans.

Encourage yourself. Don't listen to those who just see the flaws. If you wish to change your life, you
must first change the way your mind perceives and understands things. Anything that happens in your
life originates in your imagination and manifests as reality. Why is this so? And what you think becomes
what you say. Your actions are formed by your words. Your decisions become a thing as a result of them.

Our life's dream cannot be bought with money. When we were kids, we used to have a lot of fantasies.
Don’t be afraid of anything. Dreams without goals are just that, and they eventually lead to failure. Don't
measure yourself against someone. Celebrate their success. Concentrate on your plan; you'll arrive
when the time is right. Simply trust the process and wait for your turn. As a community, we face the
hard truth. Many of the fantasies that used to exist are now shattered as a result of hard reality. It is
appropriate to have lofty goals as long as we believe in ourselves. It is okay to lose, but we do not give
up on the things we want in our lives. In the very least, once we return, we would have gained insight
and understanding about what to do. Find out what you like doing. Life is wonderful if we want to be
hopeful. Regardless of how drained we are or how much we want to give up. Rest is the only alternative,
but not give up all of your hard work for one reason so don’t give up.
