SUNDAY MASS REFLECTION

L U K E
FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE ADVENT

1 : 3 5
9 - 4
After learning from an angel that she will give birth to the Son of
God, Mary hurried to Judah to visit her relative Elizabeth. It was
Archangel Gabriel that relayed to Mary with the news that she would be
bearing the Messiah and also that her relative Elizabeth was with child.
This scene of two strong women sharing the joy of bringing the good
news of salvation to the world made light through the darkness. This
made me realize that there is still hope in humanity that we, despite our
lapses and shortcomings, are given the chance to know and have faith in
God.
The Lord freed me from
selfishness and selfishness as
Christmas approaches. Instead, it
fills me with enthusiasm and
generosity. Like Mary, I am
inspired to go out into serving
others and experience how love
springs up in me and the people I
come in contact with. May this
Yuletide season be filled with joy
and hope that brings us closer to
God!
