The Runaway Train

1. No, I won’t pull the lever. I will let it to go to its original direction. Not because I don’t want to
save the five people but because I don’t want to caused of the death of the other one. I will let
the destiny to decide whom will be saved and whom will be not.
2. No, I won’t pull the lever because I don’t want to choose whom will be saved and whom will be
not. Maybe other people will question my decision, and tell me to save the majority and let the
one person in the second ravine died but I can’t do that, because it will look like I killed the one
person. For me if I can’t save both in the first and second ravine, then its better not to choose.
3. In this situation, I will pull the lever and save the world-famous cancer specialist. I’m not doing
this because the five people in the ravine are convicted criminals but because right at that
moment, this is the wise decision. The cancer specialist could help and save a lot of people.
While the criminals, maybe can change for the better but they will spend their life in the prison.
So its better to save the person who can saves people lives.
