Nowadays there is hardly any field where technology or AI has not made its presence.

We
can deeply understand that many jobs that are being done by humans will be replaced by robots in
the future but there will also be exceptions and one of them is Human Resources. Being an HR
Specialist with considerable experience in recruitment and training, I find the field of HR quite
fascinating for it effectively blends technological expertise with human logic. Choosing the right
employee cannot just be based on numerical or data analysis. The Recruiter looks beyond a
candidate's qualification. They look for passion, assess their attitude to sync with existing teams, and
they gauge a candidate's personality in line with company culture and so many further factors belong
to the vision. After 2 years of working for various corporations and learning about new concepts like
HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Centralize modeling I stoutly felt the need for concrete knowledge in this
field which became my prime motivation to pursue my higher education in Masters in Human
Resource Management. With this program, I intend to learn the best tools of analytics and imbibe the
necessary skills that are required for Organizational Development (OD). My goal is to start a new
career in my country as an HRBP/ L&D Specialist with the best figures. I would also like to challenge
myself in the next few years, by staying updated and working close to a Professional environment
from Europe.

The roots of my interest in the field of HR Management digs down to my school days when I was
fascinated with training and helping others up in homework, further, I used to be a Karatedo coach
for 4 years so I feel naturable with progress learning program and teaching. During my undergraduate
degree in Business Administration from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Hutech). I took
part in a science research project relevant to job decisions and the factors that attract employees of
corporations. As a result, I won the first prize of University and created a huge data to help connect
senior students of the school with companies that are looking for employees. Although it was not my
major area of study, I developed a strong and deep insight into the subjects like Organization
Development and Talent Acquisition as well as Recruitment, lastly it help me to be one of the few
students who can graduate 1 year ahead of the program.

With my zeal and passion towards Human Resources, I joined a corporate company in the role of
Talent Acquisition Officer (TA). After getting trained in interviews, employer branding (EB) I started
working with in-house departments to help them build up job descriptions and look for candidates.
After a few months, I was required to be mainly in charge of recruitment for a huge retail brand that
is preparing to enter the Vietnamese market. This project not only gave me a chance to work in full-
cycle of HR but also helped me a better understanding of business and processes in improving my
skills day by day.

Now with around 2.3 years of experience, I feel this is the right time to upgrade my knowledge of
Human Resource Management by pursuing a full-time course. I believe this course will equip me with
the latest trends, tools, and skills. This program will also help me in improving my knowledge of
international HR as well as various experiences of the University professors.

Having zeal and enthusiasm to study master in abroad, I sorted out a few options available and found
a few programs in the USA, Australia, and UK. I opted out USA due to its instability and Australia as it
has lesser job opportunities compared to UK. London is one of the largest international financial
centers with job opportunities in multiple domains like Financial, Manufacturing, Automobile, Banking,
etc., Where Human Resources had a wider scope in development. Including my first impressed when I
corporate with an firm from the UK named BTB Traning 1 year ago, they showed me professional
attitude and great expertise in their field, so I had on talk with their Managing Director for further
information of Master's program in the UK and job opportunities with them in the future. Last but not
least one of the biggest advantages is that course duration for Masters in UK universities is only 1 year
(mostly), which will save both my time and money. Moreover, the practical approach of study will
provide me with more exposure to the real-time work environment. I am quite confident that this
friendly practical approach of study, which is more goal-oriented, will help me stand out of the crowd,
brightening my career opportunities in top MNCs on return to my home country.

Considering my career goals, I have chosen London South Bank University which is one of the leading
educational institutions in the UK. The course curriculum includes HRM in international context,
People Management & Leadership, Strategy in international HRM Capstone business project, etc.,
which are pretty much helpful for strong HR background. I look forward to being an HRBP to Analysis
and develop the culture, organizational structure for company. Apart from the strong foundation
courses offered, diverse elective programs will provide me with greater insight into different
industrial domains. Also, implementing theoretical concepts on the capstone project while working
with real projects would greatly help in future endeavors and make me job-ready.

Studying at your university would surely help me refresh all my Human resource skills gained through
my experience so far and try to work out more practical knowledge gained at the University. I am sure
that, your University will fulfill all my digs in the subjects so far and clear the path for a great career
ahead.
