ABOUT THE INSTITUTION RESOURCE PERSONS

Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (A) [GVPCE(A)] was established in Dr. A.Sarat Babu NIT Warangal
1996 by Gayatri Vidya Parishad, a premier educational trust, to promote technical Dr. Kishalay Mitra IIT Hyderabad
education. The GVPCE(A) offers 10 B.Tech., 9 M. Tech programmes and MCA with
an annual intake of 1362. The college is accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade with Dr. V.Pandu Ranga IIT Bhubaneswar
CGPA of 3.47/4.00. Autonomous status was recommended by UGC and conferred by Dr. Maheswaran Rathinasamy IIT Hyderabad
JNTU-K in the year 2009. The institute reached another mammoth milestone by Dr. P.Vamsi Krishna NIT Warangal
receiving fund to the tune of Rs 4 crore under subcomponent 1.2 of Technical

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Chemical Engineering was established in 1996. The Department has
highly qualified faculty members and experienced from diverse research areas. It has
completed four projects sanctioned by AICTE. The Department is accredited by NBA
for Three times starting from 2003. The Department has signed MOU’s with various
industries to build Industry- Institute interaction. Major equipments like AAS, High
pressure Reactors, GC etc., are available to facilitate research. State of art softwares
like COMSOL Multiphysics for CFD, PRO-II, MATLAB, Triangle Simulation
software are available for simulation works.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
All Research Scholars and faculty from AICTE approved engineering colleges can
participate. E-certificates will be issued to those participants who will complete the
program with 80% attendance and qualify the tests with a minimum of 60% marks.
