1. What is for you a global teacher? What are the attributes of a global teacher?

 
A global teacher teaches his/her learners to be globally competent through teaching
knowledge and fact beyond their locality, exploring other peoples’ cultures,
technologies, and economies that will make a learner globally competent.
 A global teacher must have the passion to teach new things for his/her learners.
A global teacher must be resourceful in many ways.
A global teacher always thinking for the betterment of his/her learner's future from inside
to the outside of their community.
 
2. Do you consider yourself as a global teacher? Why or why not?

Yes, I consider myself a global teacher for the reason that I always remind my learners
not to limit their dreams and aspirations to the things that they see in their community
because there is much more for them to see, experience, learn and explore. 
I let my learners imagine the possibilities of life outside their community and teach them
the knowledge and skill to adapt and excel where ever they may be in their future.

3. Can one become a global teacher without teaching abroad?

Yes, they can be a global teacher. Being a global teacher thus not required experience
teaching abroad. What is important is that aside from teaching the basic competencies,
a teacher must inculcate the knowledge and skill to survive and do better in their chosen
field anywhere in the world.

4. How can you apply glocalization (global and local educational awareness) in your
school setting?

Education today is much wider and more informative through the use of the internet, I
can let my learners explore/ surf or I will share new ideas, facts, knowledge, and skill
related to my topic and ensure that the Pilipino culture and tradition is preserved as
always.

5. Reflect on the statement: "As a glocal teacher, act locally but think globally."
 
A teacher that is well adapted to the latest trends in imparting new knowledge and skill
but always anchored to the root of being a Filipino.
A teacher who teaches global competencies using the local resource that produces a
globally competitive individual.
