P. Ramlee was a Malaysian actor, filmmaker and musician. He is one of the most famous
icons of Malay entertainment. He was born as Tan Sri Teuku Zakaria.Sifl Teuku Nyak Puteh,
on 22 March I q2q in Penang. P. Ramlee was ,a stage name that he used during his career.
He studied at Sekolah Melayu Jawa, Francis Light English School and Penang Free
School. Ramlee supposedly did not like studying much, but he enjoyed music and J:>laying
football. He later took part in singing and song writing competitions. In I q4a, the director
B.S. Rajhans saw one of Ramlee's performances. He was impressed and offered Ramlee
a job in his film studio. .
That same year, Ramlee got his first acting role in the film 'Chinta'. From then on,
Ramlee's career grew quickly. He starred in 27 films between I q4a and I qss. Besides
acting, he began directing his own films. Ramlee directed 35 films during his career, and
also often composed the music for them. He passed away in I q73 in Kuala Lumpur". He
died of a heart attack.

Hi, I'm Mah Guangli. I was,born in I qaa in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. I_ grew up and

friends. That was how I became interested in engineering.
