    Dear Brethren

    We are giving God thanks for His love, mercy and grace for taking us thus far.
    The work here continues not on a large scale. I having some face to face studies
    and what sap studies as the virus is still evident in my Parish and throughout
    the Island. We have over nine thousand cases and over two hundred deaths.

    We were able to go back to the building on the second Sunday of September


    and we are still having one service at the building while our Wednesday class is
    on Zoom. We had a few members who caught the virus but they have all
    recovered.

    Our schools have not gone back to face to face and so Leila and I have to take
    turns to help my grandchildren who are living with us.

    We are aware of the rising cases in the US and are praying that people around
    the world will act more responsible and be more disciplined. This is the only
    way containment will come until a vaccine is found.
    We have been having heavy rains in the later part of October which has
    affected attendance. There has been flooding in arears of the Island including
    our Parish.

    We continue to pray for the safety of all members at Southern Oaks especially
    the elders as they lead and care for God’s people. We continue to be grateful for
    the prayers and support of the congregation especially during this time.
