ORDER:

In the G.O. first read above Government have issued orders for
Rationalization. In order to facilitate and regulate the transfers of HMs Grade.II
Gazetted, and teachers working in Government / ZPP / MPP Schools, in the G.O.,
second read above, Government issued general rules on regulation of transfers for
effecting Teacher Transfer Counseling.

2. Among others, under rule 5 (a) of the G.O., second read above it was
ordered that the Headmasters Gr.II Gazetted / Teachers in Government / ZPP /
MPP., who have completed 8 years of service in a particular school / Panchayat /
Municipality or Municipal Corporation in all schools as on 1st June of every year
shall be compulsorily transferred. Under rule-6 it was ordered that 2 years of
minimum service in a school is required to apply for transfer.

3. After careful re-examination of the matter the said rule.5 (a) is modified to
the effect that the teachers who have completed 8 years of service in a school only
shall be compulsorily transferred. Further below rule.6 the following “note” shall
be added:

Note: that the teachers who were promoted during January, 2009 and re-
allotted places in July, 2009 through counseling shall be considered to
participate in the present transfer counseling.
