How you participated in the planning

Our group had a zoom meeting on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in which we
discussed our ideas, roles, and consequently came up with a plan of action. As the
visual/spatial leader, I responsible of obtaining the graphics, and researching to
find video clips that suited our storyboard, script developed by Lisa, and music
selected by Lachelle. We communicated via discussion board and cell phone
throughout the week to plan and communicate the latest updates of our project’s
development.
How you participated in collecting resources
Based on our storyline, I decided to look at news clips that involved how much
technology use has increased with the recent health crisis. I also wanted to connect
this with the initial commitment educators have towards their profession.
Education is much more than a pathway, it is a decision that can impact others’
lives and through a clip at the beginning of our video, I wanted to emphasize that
this was one of the reasons why anyone should consider being an instructional
designer.
How you participated in putting resources together
I used the script developed by Lisa and created the visual storyline. I divided the
script into segments that would eventually be combined with the video clips in a
document, which was posted in the discussion board. This contributed to the group
as it served as a rough draft that joined all our ideas into what ultimately became
our finished product.
