In addition to Auditors and PRI Staff, select which stakeholders the advisory is viewable to:
Background: AMS2750 Rev. F paragraph 3.5.10.3 requires that (quote) “Temperature data
from control, and recording sensors required by the applicable
instrumentation type, Table 12, shall also be recorded by the process recorder
during the TUS” (end quote).
AMS2750 Rev. F does not prohibit the use of the same TUS sensors as load or
recording sensors for instrumentation types A or B when the TUS sensors are
attached to a production load or inserted into a heat sink, and the load or
recording sensors use and position duplicates that used during regular
production.
Procedure: Do not issue an NCR when the Auditee uses the same TUS sensors to collect
data for the load or recording sensors required by the instrumentation types A
or B per AMS2750 Rev. F, and the load or recording sensors use and position
duplicates that used during regular production.
However, it is mandatory that during TUS tests, those sensors have to be
connected to both the furnace recorder and the field test instrument
(multichannel recorder).
Note: EC-LR data will not be referenced or discussed in any advisory.
