In this survey that we have conducted, we prepare 5 questions purposively for consumers

and producers. We have a total of 20 respondents, 10 for respondents that are considered as
consumers and 10 respondents which are producers, we have decided to consider online sellers as
our respondents as producers. Here are the results of the survey that we conducted through a
survey application which is the Formapp and we use Facebook messenger as a platform to reach
out to our chosen respondents.

1. As a consumer, what will you consider if your needed food product is not available in the
market on your scheduled purchased date?

For this question, the result chart shows that 50% of the respondents has
answered that they prefer to change their menu according to what product is available
in the market. And also the other 50% of the respondents prefers to proceed on online
purchasing as their option. This implies that the result came up having the same level of
perception in choosing changing of menu and online purchasing.
2. As a consumer, what is the biggest challenge when you purchase online?

Not being able to physically try out and touch a product

The quality of the product

Misiing product information

The size of the product (Shoes, pants, dress, etc.)

For this question, the result chart


shows that 50% of the respondents
considered that their biggest challenge
in purchasing through online is their

able to try and check the product
properly. For the 30% of the
respondents, they consider the quality
of the product as their biggest
challenge purchasing online. And for
the 20% of the respondents, their
biggest challenge in purchasing online is the lack and miss of product
information. Therefore, we conclude that among the respondents, the most
challenging part in purchasing online is not able to try and check the
product personally.

3. As a consumer, why do you think almost half of the consumer who experienced a problem
did not take any action??

Because it was not worth the time and effort

The money involved was too small

They want to avoid making the issue become bigger

The process might take so long


For this question, the result chart shows that 50% of the respondents
considered that taking action on a product issue will just take a long
processing time, and 40% of the respondents considered that taking action
is not worth their time and for the 10% of the respondents they conclude
that avoiding an action will not make the issue becomes bigger. This
implies that majority of the respondents answered that taking an action for
a project issue will just cost a lot of time.

4. As a consumer, what are the factors do you consider in buying products?

The quality of the product

The price

The nutrient content

The trusted seller


For this question, the result chart shows that 100% of the
respondents responded that the most factor they consider in buying
products is the quality of the products. This concludes that the following
consumer who responded to this question preferably considered the quality
of the products among other factors.

5. As a consumer, How will you deal with the seller who are not good or
attentive.Just like when they are giving you a wrong items or variations of the
product?

Just let it be since the other product could be an alternative

Talk to the seller in a nice way and change the product that they give

Take your money and leave

Just let it be however, do not buy next time.


For this question, the result chart shows that 50% of the respondents prefers to
deal on the seller with a nice way and let them change the given product, for the 40% of
the respondents they prefer to just accept the given product by the seller as an
alternative for their option and for the 10% of the respondents prefers to let the
situation be but do not buy and t on seller next time. This results implies that majority
of the respondents prefers to approach the seller in a nice way and let them change the
product.

Survey Results for Producers

1. How will you handl a returned product from a costumer if the product is
already opened or unsealed?

Change and get the return product

Check the date of product being purchased and ask for receipt. Without
receipt, changing of product will not be done.

question, the result chart shows that 40% of the respondents handle a returned product
from a customer by assisting the costumer and ask them questions for product
replacement. And about the 30% of the respondents prefers to check the date of
product being purchased and ask for receipt and will not replace the product without it.
For the 20% of the respondents, they prefer to ask for the receipt and change the
product. And for the other 10% of the respondents, prefers to simply change and get
the returned product. This implies that the results came up that the responses has
different views on how to handle a returned product Though they have different views,
majority of them wants to assist the costumer and ask questions for replacement of the
product.

2. What problems you can manageably avoid for the sake of your costumers?
Bad return policies and lack of product warrantises
Slow processing time
Nonsensical requirements for completing a prurchase
Scarce information on the product sheet
For this question, the result chart shows that 50% of the respondents
answered that bad return policies and lack of buyer warranties is the
problems that they can manageably avoid for their customers. And 30% of
them choose slow processing times, while the 10% respondents choose
having scarce information on the product sheet. Therefore, we conclude
that majority percentage of the respondents selected the bad return policies
and lack of buyer warranties as the problem that they can manageably
avoid for the sake of their customers.

3. As a producer, when is a perfect time to make and sell a lot of


your products?
In season

For this question, the result chart shows that 60% of the
respondents has answered that the perfect time to make and sell a
lot of their products is in season, while the 40% of the
respondents says anytime could. This concludes that most of these
producer who responded prefers to sell their products in season.

4. If you will choose between quality and quantity, what will you

For this question, the result chart shows that 50% of the respondents has answered to
do a mode of self-learning strategy to expand the knowledge they had about business. And 30%
of them says to attend more business seminars, while 10% of the respondents prefers to have a
degree about business and for the other 10% of the respondents choose to hire a business
expert that would give advice and strategies about business. This concludes that the highest
total of respondents prefers to do a mode of self-learning strategy in a way that would suit their
time and convenience as an entrepreneur.
