1. Based on the poems - Critical Analysis of Poems.

Students to pick any one of the mentioned genres of poem for critical analysis.

2. Project based on the chapter Albert Einstein at School

Activity 1- Conduct a Panel Discussion on the topic- The School system often curbs
individual talents. Group activity - Moderator(1), Teachers(2-3), Students(2-3)
Parents(2-3)
Prepare a script according to the roles assigned and the topic in discussion.
Record the panel discussion in real time. Can be conducted on online platform.
Or
Activity 2- Conduct a Survey on My School Is So Cool
Prepare a questionnaire.
Conduct a survey for at least 10-15 people.
Prepare a chart/diagram/graph based on the data collected.
Write a report as the conclusion.

3. Role Play Of Mother’s Day/any other play with mother as the central character of
the family.
● Prepare a script
● Assign roles
● Enact the play/skit
● Record the play/skit
● Write a report on the group/individual reflection on the activity.
4. Based on the chapter the Ailing Planet
Make poster/illustration to highlight the importance of Sustainable Development. Conduct
a survey on eco-friendly techniques that are used in day to day modern life.
Prepare a questionnaire.
Conduct a survey for at least 10-15 people.
Prepare a chart/diagram/graph based on the data collected.
Write a report as the conclusion.

5. Based on the chapter Silk Road

Write a travelogue about a recent journey with detailed information about:
● geological features
● location
● lifestyle of people
● language
● customs & traditions
● unique characteristics of the place etc

General Instruction for Project

The Project-Portfolio/Project Report is a compilation of the work that the students
produce during the process of working on their ALS Project.
The Project-Portfolio may include the following:
● Cover page, with title of project, school details/details of students.
● Statement of purpose/objectives/goals
● Certificate of completion under the guidance of the teacher.
● Action plan for the completion of assigned tasks.
● Materials such as scripts for the theatre/role play, questionnaires for interview, written
assignments, essays, survey-reports and other material evidence of learning progress and
academic accomplishment.
● The 800-1000 words essay/Script/Report.
● Student/group reflections.
● If possible, Photographs that capture the positive learning experiences of the student(s).
● List of resources/bibliography.
