This document discusses key considerations for sampling strategies when conducting mixed methods research. It raises questions about whether the same or different samples will be used for the quantitative and qualitative aspects, when samples will be drawn, and whether sample sizes will be equal or different. The impact of sampling approaches on consistency and divergence across the study is also addressed.

However, the impact on sampling must be taken into account.
Here is an example:
1. What sampling strategies can be used for which factors of the studies and will the same
or distinctive samples be utilized in each the quantitative and qualitative factors, as an example, to ensure ‘convey-through’ and consistency of human beings, as having unique samples can also deliver inconsistencies and undue divergence (Ivankova, 2013, p. forty two)? 2. Will the qualitative pattern be drawn from the pattern used in the quantitative element (i.e. a few ‘convey-through’ of the sample, with the qualitative pattern turning into, in impact, a pattern of the quantitative sample), and could the qualitative sample consist of, but upload to, the pattern used in the quantitative detail? If the qualitative pattern is drawn from the quantitative pattern, i.e. a pattern of the pattern, how will the qualitative sample be selected? 3. Will the quantitative sample be drawn from the sample used in the qualitative detail (i.e. some ‘carry’ of the pattern, with the quantitative sample becoming, in impact, a sample of the qualitative pattern), and will the quantitative sample encompass, however add to, the sample used in the qualitative detail? If the quantitative sample is drawn from the qualitative sample, i.e. a sample of the pattern, how will the quantitative pattern be selected? 4. At what point inside the studies will the samples be drawn, i.e. whilst will you decide whom the sample will include? 5. Will the samples for the quantitative and qualitative elements be of the equal or different sizes? 6. Will the equal or one-of-a-kind samples be used for the same studies question (s) and issues under study?
