 Making an Alternative Whitening Cream using Aloe Vera and Lemon

Abstract

Nowadays, people are very interested in using whitening cream. They use whitening cream
that are low in quality and have harmful effects. They put the whitening cream on their faces to
remove dark spots. The researcher made a study because the researcher ought to solve the
problem in removing dark spots. The researchers came up an idea to make something useful
out of Aloe Vera and Lemon. That is the reason why the researcher made an alternative
whitening cream using Aloe Vera and Lemon. The study aims to make an effective and cost-
efficient whitening cream that can compete with other whitening cream in the market.

The materials and equipment that the researcher used were water, aloe vera gel, lemon,
rose water, bowl, spoon, and fork. First, the researcher gathered all the needed materials.
Afterwards, the researcher sliced all the lemons in half and squeezed it in a bowl. Put one cup
of water to squeezed lemons and mix it. Boil the mixture in 3-5 minutes. Peel off 2 to 3 aloe
veras and after boiling, put 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel in the mixture and mix it for 5-10
minutes using fork or beater. Lastly, refrigerate the mixture to store if the weather is hot.

The result showed that the whitening cream is accepted in terms of effectivity, affordability
and safetiness of the product. The researcher concluded that the experimental product can
achieve in removing dark spots without harm effects.
