    FRANCIS XAVIER

    ST. Francis Xavier who loved our savior,


    Become a missionary around 1534,
    He mostly preached in countries of four.

    India, Japan, and China too,


    Ordained priest by Pope Paul III in 1537,
    Saving souls intended for heaven.

    Came along with Ignatius of Loyola,


    Finally convince the young man Francis to Christ.
    Showing Francis the great rewards of giving his life.

    His travels carried him in the mid fifteen hundreds,


    To Mindanao and on to Japan somehow.
    Jesuits, which was recognized by the church in 1540,
    The number of thousands he baptized is in the 40’s.

    He was called home by God in 1552,


    Many miracles are attributed to him too.
