Mathilde had no idea how to identify good quality gems or legitimate jewelry because, as we all
know from the story, she didn't even recognize that the necklace she borrowed was affordable
and not high-priced jewelry and In my opinion, the reason Jeanne Forestier never contracted
Mathilda after the return of the necklace is because she knows the necklace is not a high class
necklace and she can buy more than one of them and she's a professional woman and I don't
think she's the type of person who forces you to give her things back to her and Mathilde longs to
be in a higher social class and laments about her current social status, which is why Jeanne
Forestier never disturbed her because I think she knows that it will serves as lesson after
Mathilde realize that the necklace is fake and I believe the man who assisted Mathilde in
returning home is none other than her husband her husband is one of the saddest characters in the
film for me because he suffered a lot as a result of Mathilde's materialistic wife, and he gave
everything to Mathilde to make her happy, but Mathilde didn't recognize his efforts on her
behalf. Mathilde loisel's life is perfect for me in the first place, the only problem she has is
herself because she is a materialistic woman, she's never content with what she has, her attitude
and behavior is toxic as a person because she is always jealous on what people lives even if her
husband was loyal to her but she didn't see that the only thing that is important to her is her looks
and the things she wants,  However, towards the conclusion of the novel, Mathilde realizes that if
you want something, you must work hard to have it. You must be content with your current
status and work hard to obtain what you desire. And the lesson or the moral of the story that I
realize is be contended on what status you have and when if you want something to get, work
hard for it to achieve it, because we achieve what we want if our goal is to achieve it.
