fore, deseribe here the Japanese speeimens as a new speeies.
During the eourse o￡ his study o￡ the marine Rhodophyeeae ￡rom
Osyoro Bay, another Nsrx'iter (INAGAm) also ￡ound the same plant groxv-
ing on t･he she]ls o￡ Myt'iltes, as Nx'e].]. as olt the ￡yonds of otheix algae,
ael･i(l･ium, Sa"'gass･m?z ete., but very ratt'ely oi'} yocks.
