fore, deseribe here the Japanese speeimens as a new speeies.
During the eourse o£ his study o£ the marine Rhodophyeeae £rom
Osyoro Bay, another Nsrx'iter (INAGAm) also £ound the same plant groxv-
ing on t・he she]ls o£ Myt'iltes, as Nx'e].]. as olt the £yonds of otheix algae,
ael・i(l・ium, Sa"'gass・m?z ete., but very ratt'ely oi'} yocks.
