Bus.

They are the cheapest form of transportation


Transportation in Cusco City in Cusco. These aren't go through the Historic
Center of Cusco. To know where the bus is going,
you have to read the signs on the windshield or windows. The price depends on your destination. You pay on board, to an assistant driver who collects in cash, opens
and closes the doors and announces the stops.
Also, one of the best ways to traveling the city of Cusco is to get on one of the panoramic buses that take tourists to the most popular places in the city. These buses

tourism agencies located around the Main Square of the city.

Van- It has capacity for about 10 passengers. Their low cost and speed have made them the most popular means of transportation. However, they are dangerous
because of the way they are driven, so you shouldn’t use them.

Taxis. Cusco taxis are white, with black and yellow side stripes. On the roof they most have a visible ‘taxi’ sign. Usually you tell the driver where you want to go
when you get in the taxi. Prices vary according to the distance of the route. Cusco also has the taxi service by cell phone application: Uber and Easy Taxi. Traveling
in a taxi service is safer and easier than traveling by taxi because the taxi service gives you the option of paying in cash or by credit or debit card, also you can follow
the taxi driver's route in real time and other things.
However both can transport tourists to different tourist attractions such as: Sacsayhuaman, Coricancha, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. Taxis and taxi
service are probably the safest way to travel late at night.

Train .The train ride is the only way to get to Machu Picchu. Also, this trip is the fastest and safest way to go. The
stations to take the trains to Machu Picchu are located in the cities of Poroy and Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley
of the Incas. The trip can last 2-3 hours and depends on the train station you have chosen.
Peru Rail and Inca Rail are the two companies authorized to operate the train route to Machu Picchu. These
companies offer different services to tourists, some of which include: gourmet lunches, snacks, drinks, champagne,
bar cart and other services.
Train tickets must bought online, through the Peru Rail or Inca Rail websites. It’s recommended that you buy them 2
or 3 weeks before the trip.

Tram. The tourist tram of Cusco is an attraction in itself. It is a wagon of the


old horse-drawn trams, which now works mechanically. It is an excellent option to explore the city and get to know the main
tourist sites. It even makes a stop at Cristo Blanco, where there is a viewpoint from which you can see the entire city.
Besides of the driver, there is a guide that explains each of the sites seen on the tour. This tram pass for 40 tourist attractions, such
as Sacsayhuamán, the White Christ and the Church of the Mercy. The ticket costs S / 20.
