NHEDZIWA MARKET SITE VISIT MINUTES

Contractors

Engineer Hatidani gave an apology for late starting and welcome remarks. Every contractor present
signed the register and received an original signed copy by Engineer with outstanding works and site
visit notes which is supposed to be enclosed with bids to be submitted.

Clarification made on the scope of work outstanding.

Paving of the site

Area to be covered is the area within the fence, Industrial pavement 80mm. In bids contractors to
include detail of the scope of work on how they are going to do the work. Material -polythen 250UM

Electrical Installation

Electrical pole which is 40 metres from the nearest electric pole, 3phase amad cable, Contractor to
provide zesa connection fee. Faults arise on the electrification within the premise done before are
an obligation of the previous contractor.

Storm drain

Water from the roof proposed to be harvested into reserve tanks. Open drainage, the drainage to
drain water to the shoulders of tarred road outside the fence, drainage lining out of concrete 80mm
and dimension 600mmx600mm, crossing place 3metres

Poles 50mm round tube, height 1200mm, Infill 32mm spacing 150mm

There is no provision of electricity at the site for the construction works, so the contractor to
provide own source of power. Taped water is available at the site but was closed due high charges
which were experienced by the pervious contractor and he ended up sourcing water from nearby
river which is less than a kilometre from the site. So the new contractor to provide own way of
sourcing water from that river.

Contractors requested feedback regardless of being successful or unsuccessful. Signed registers to


be emailed to those who were present.

World Vision Rep gave closing remarks giving appreciation for those who attended the visit and
wishing contractors the best.
